KELLY ASHLEY: “Top 23 Spiritual Awakening Signs and Symptoms”

adec7-gaiabirth2bcopy

If you’re reading this you’ve probably spent some time scouring the internet looking for lists of signs or symptoms of spiritual awakening.  It’s probably not the first time you’ve searched for that either.  How do I know this?  Because I was once in the same position — endlessly trawling the internet in the search for answers too.  I didn’t really find them at the time and I secretly worried that I might have gone mad.  Fear not, dear friend, you are absolutely not crazy (although some of your spiritual experiences might be).  You’re going through a spiritual awakening.

Let’s take a look at some of the signs and symptoms that can be experienced during the awakening:

1.  Physical sensitivity — sensitive to light, noise, certain foods

2.  Emotional sensitivity — extreme highs or extreme lows, wild or erratic mood swings, unexplained depression or sudden waves of emotion

3.  Energetic sensitivity — picking up on energies or feelings from people, places or things. Feeling overwhelmed by your own energy or others

4.  Unusual sensations — tingling, tickly feelings, buzzing or prickling, shivers or shaking

5.  Feeling drawn to metaphysics or spirituality — healing, religion, meditation, practices etc.

6.  Ringing in the ears or feeling frequency changes

7.  Synchronicity — seeing number patterns, peculiar coincidences, meaningful signs or symbolism

8.  Lack of interest in negative vibrations or interests, loss of interest in old friendships, places or behaviors

9.  Knowing that something has changed within you or your life, even if you can’t explain what

10.  Becoming more introverted or sensitive, craving more time alone

11.  Aversion to superficial, fake or inauthentic people, places or things

12.  A deep yearning to find meaning in life, to help others, to fulfill a life purpose or soul mission

13.  Powerful aversion to traditional work, the system, or having to work for money

14.  Increased psychic or intuitive abilities — senses, visions, knowing, hearing or even seeing

15.  Changes in appetite and eating habits — you may find you are suddenly much hungrier, craving protein or unusual foods.  Sudden aversion to drinking alcohol, eating meat, chemical laden food or unnatural substances, or less need to eat at all.

16.  Changing sleep patterns — unable to sleep, waking during the night feeling wired or overstimulated, sometimes more than once

17.  Sudden health complications, ailments or injuries — old issues held in your energetic blueprint are being released

18.  Vivid, meaningful dreams, or lucid dreaming

19.  Confusion in life or inability to make decisions

20.  Impatience — perhaps you know something is supposed to happen and you feel you literally can’t wait for it, or you feel a soul call or life purpose that needs to be fulfilled.  A feeling of time running out

21.  Communications with spirit, Creator, guides or ascended masters, angels or even ET beings

22.  Awareness of soul mates, twin flames or soul counterparts

23.  Past life memories or current life issues rising to the surface to be released and healed

Experiencing something that’s not on the list?  Bingo!  That’s exactly how I felt when I searched too.  It’s not good for us, and I actually questioned whether I should create a list at all because it encourages you to fit your experience into a pre-defined framework.  That means, that if your experience doesn’t fit the list, you’ll begin to question yourself and everything you’ve been through.

You might even secretly fret that you’ve gone mad (don’t worry, I did too). I want you to know that each and every awakening experience is entirely different, unique and specific to the individual.

You are an amalgamation of all your past lives, all of your parallel lives, all your heartaches and belief systems.  Awakening is the process of UNDOING those exact things.  Its the process of releasing everything that isn’t who you truly are so that you can identify the divinity beneath.  That unraveling isn’t the same for everyone — it can’t possibly be.  You have a divine reason for being here — you had something special and unique to bring.  Don’t stifle that by defining the way your awakening must go.  Allow your soul to lead the way — don’t squeeze it through someone else’s framework — even mine.  Your soul knows exactly what its doing, let it get on with it.

However, I know from first hand experience that that isn’t so easy.  Awakening can be a crazy time and feel incredibly out of control.  You need to find a way to flow through the awakening without it throwing you around like a rag doll (which it will do, if you let it). And that involves grounding.

Grounding is the foundational step to moving through your awakening more quickly, easily and joyfully.

Why Is Grounding Essential?

Spiritual awakening can be very confusing.  It can leave you feeling lost, lonely and disconnected (not to mention, crazy).  It can simultaneously be the highest point of spiritual connection and the lowest point of physical existence.  It can even bring you to crisis point.  But here’s the thing — it only becomes confusing, frightening or isolating when you are out of balance.  You’re up too high without a hold in the physical.  The higher you float, the less of a grip on reality you have and the harder it is to handle physically being here.  Balance is needed, and that starts with grounding.

The purpose of awakening is to balance heaven and earth — high spiritual connectedness with physical presence — it’s like merging two worlds.  All of that wonderful connectedness, experience and insight can feel pretty useless if you’re not grounded in the physical to process it, share it or do something with it — and you’re definitely not going to be able to do that if your body, mind and energy are all over the place.  Give your mind a chance to catch up to these energetic changes and see the magic that happens.  You brain begins to make cognitive shifts.  Your mind can process and understand the experience.  Wonderful insights surge forward that can become the basis of your new renewed self and life.  You see, grounding is vital to get out of that stagnant, stuck and stale energy and step forward into the ‘new world’ that we’ve all been waiting for.

Struggling to Ground Yourself?

It’s challenging!  I know this because I went through the exact same thing during my own awakening experience.  The old methods just didn’t work (especially in cases of spiritual emergence). I tried everything — visualization, meditation, crystals, essential oils, incense.  Nothing worked.  It took a long time of repeatedly and desperately trying to unsuccessfully ground myself with these methods to realize that they didn’t bring me back down into my body, they were taking me back up.  I could see that because of the intensity of my spiritual awakening, they just wouldn’t work.

The best practices for grounding yourself during spiritual awakening are actually non-spiritual practices.  Focus on your body.  Focus on being present.  What can you perceive with your physical senses?  What can you do that’s actually fun and makes you want to stay in your body, present in the moment?  Try walking in nature, eating a delicious meal or laughing with some friends.  Grounding is the physical, earthly part of the merging process.  Do earthly, physical things and in time, you’ll find that your awakening becomes much more stable, flowing and enlightening.  The way it should be.

JOHN HOLLAND: “Synchronicities And You”

Synchronicities and You.png

Is your soul trying to get your attention?

Synchronicities and so-called coincidences are clear signs that the Divine Source is knocking on your door.  Sometimes it could be a soft tap or for those times when you’re not paying attention, it could be a loud bang!

When source works through synchronicities, it can manifest itself in some pretty unique ways.  I have my own definition and refer to them as my divine nudges.  For example, it’s when I hear the same phrase or saying from more than one person in a day?  It’s when the same numbers keep showing up in your life?  Has someone mentioned the same person you were just thinking of?  Have you met someone out of the blue who seemed to answer a question that you were just pondering?

How to tell if it is synchronicities?

These are all just signs for you, and I encourage you to pause, be open, and pay attention but most importantly, acknowledge that the source is sending you a message.

I know this man who was having a hard time switching careers and it was clearly causing him a lot of stress with all the unanswered questions.  He was offered a new job and wasn’t sure if he wanted to leave the security of his existing job where he’d worked for years.  One day as he was driving to work and in a state of indecisiveness, he found himself asking himself all the nagging questions that torment us at such times:

  • “Should I take the new job?”
  • “Will I be happy?”
  • “Am I doing the right thing?”

At that precise moment as he was churning the questions over and over, he looked up and saw a bus drive by and for some reason, he read the billboard on the side of the bus. It was a Nike advertisement with the slogan:

“Just Do It!”

These are not just coincidences!  I don’t believe there are accidents in this intelligent universe.  It’s times like these that you should ask yourself: “What am I supposed to be learning or doing right now?”  I feel when these synchronistic events happen, it’s the inner workings of your soul showing up in your outside physical world.

Tips on tapping into, and working with, synchronicities

This week try to notice if synchronistic events are happening around you and your life.  Here are a few tips to assist you to Begin to notice and act on those divine nudges.

The more you notice and pay attention to meaningful synchronistic events and coincidences, the easier it gets for them to multiply in your life.

  • Notice when you run in to people unexpectedly.  Really listen to what’s being said in the conversation and the hidden message that could be there for you.
  • If there’s a certain problem in your life, try to let it go and turn it over to synchronicity.  What you’re saying to the Divine Source is: “OK, show me! Let me be aware and act when the answer or guidance is being presented to me.”
  • Work with your journal and intuition to become even more aware when source is knocking on your door.
  • Believe that it’s possible.  A positive attitude enhances the experience, just as a negative attitude will shut it down.

This article maybe the first from me you have seen, you may have had this forwarded to you from a friend, or someone might have simply had you read this after you just told them of a so called coincidence that has or keeps showing up in your life.  You were meant to receive this newsletter with this message.  This is another example of synchronicity trying to get your attention.

As I’ve said: “There are no accidents!  I truly believe that life tries to show us miracles every day, if we would simply notice — and act upon them.”

Live a Soul-Filled Life!

MASHUBI ROSHELL: “Developing Discernment: Learning to See Truth in Today’s Complex World”

discernment

Learning to See Truth in Today’s Complex World:

A new time is upon us as the many challenges of today’s world escalate and cry out for healing.  What is needed now is concerted action on the part of each individual, to join together with others to create positive change in the world.  This is not always as easy as it sounds, for the problems we face individually and collectively are multi-layered, and the process of attempting to create positive change activates many forces that oppose change.

Another challenge faced by anyone who wished to help create positive change in the world, is that of developing discernment and the ability to see underneath the surface of things to understand what is really going on.  This ability to discern truth will become even more important in the years ahead.

In today’s world, there is much at stake and all of us have a part to play in helping to create the kind of world that we wish to leave to our children and grandchildren.  How then do we navigate the enormous complexities of today’s world, and make the kinds of decisions and choices that will have a positive outcome?

The following are some ways that you can begin to hone your innate sense of truth and to develop discernment in relation to the information you receive.

1. Truth has a vibration, a quality of energy that can be felt.

We are born with the ability to sense this, and many of us had to “learn” to ignore our truth sense in order to survive in the world.  Truth can be felt in the body, the mind and the heart.  You can begin to develop discernment by having the intention to do so.  Your intention will activate a learning process that will create a healing process that restores your natural inner sense of truth.

2. Remember that all information has a bias.

In today’s world, the mainstream media sources of information all have vested financial interests and biases that they transmit through their broadcasts.  You need to develop the ability to question what you are hearing or seeing, to do your own research, and then asking your “inner truth meter” whether the information feels credible to you.

3. When you need to make important decisions about people, you need to have your own experience of that individual.

It is not enough to listen to experts commenting on that person, you need to see and hear them yourself, or read what they have written in their own words.  Pay attention not just to the words, but to what is said underneath the words, through the body language and energy of the person.

4. Learn to pay attention to your body’s subtle physical and emotional signals, which often have information that your conscious mind may have learned to ignore.

This is useful in all situations, and especially in relation to listening to other people speak.  Your innate inner truth sense is always operating, even when you may have learned to not listen to it.  For example, you notice that whenever you hear a particular person speak, you find yourself feeling tense and getting a little spaced out, and you “tune out” their words.  Another person that you see appears seems likeable enough, but your “gut feelings” put up a red flag, and just don’t trust them.  Another person speaks and you find yourself feeling empowered and uplifted, and want to hear more of what they say.  These body signals can provide important information to you that is beyond what your conscious mind is aware of.

5. Become aware of your own emotional baggage that you carry, that may influence your choices.

For example, if you grew up with an abusive father and developed a problem with authority figures, become aware of the emotional dynamics that are operating in your life as a result of this.  How does your past affect the choices you make in your life today?  How do these influence your perceptions of people?  Do these choices empower you today?  You have the ability to see clearly, beyond your personal emotional pain of the past.

As each of us creates the intention to see clearly and to make choices based on our own inner sense of truth, we can expand the network of love, light and truth in the world and help to create a more positive future for all of humanity.

AVIA VENEFICA: “Native American Animal Symbols Of The Zodiac”

native-american-zodiac-signs-2

Native American Animal Signs Otter

OTTER:  Jan 20 — Feb 18

A little quirky, and unorthodox, the Otter is a hard one to figure sometimes.  Perceived as unconventional, the Otter methods aren’t the first ones chosen to get the job done.  This is a big mistake on the part of others — because although unconventional, the Otter’s methods are usually quite effective.  Yes, the Otter has unusual way of looking at things, but he/she is equipped with a brilliant imagination and intelligence, allowing him/her an edge over every one else.  Often very perceptive and intuitive, the Otter makes a very good friend, and can be very attentive.  In a nurturing environment the Otter is sensitive, sympathetic, courageous, and honest.  Left to his/her own devices, the Otter can be unscrupulous, lewd, rebellious, and isolated.

wolf

WOLF:  Feb 19 — Mar 20

Deeply emotional, and wholly passionate, the Wolf is the lover of the zodiac in both the physical and philosophical sense of the word.  The Wolf understands that all we need is love, and is fully capable of providing it.  Juxtaposed with his/her fierce independence — this Native American animal symbol is a bit of a contradiction in terms.  Needing his/her freedom, yet still being quite gentle and compassionate — we get the picture of the “lone wolf” with this sign.  In a nurturing environment the Wolf is intensely passionate, generous, deeply affectionate, and gentle.  Left to his/her own devices the Wolf can become impractical, recalcitrant, obsessive, and vindictive.

Native American Animal Symbol Falcon

A natural born leader, the Falcon can always be looked upon for clear judgment in sticky situations.  Furthermore, the characteristics for this Native American animal symbol never wastes time, rather he/she strikes while the iron is hot, and takes action in what must be done.  Ever persistent, and always taking the initiative, the Falcon is a gem of a personality to have for projects or team sports.  The Falcon can be a little on the conceited side — but he/she is usually right in his/her opinions — so a little arrogance is understood.  In a supportive environmental the Falcon “soars” in his/her ability to maintain passion and fire in relationships, and always remaining compassionate.  Left to his/her own devices, the Falcon can be vain, rude, intolerant, impatient, and over-sensitive.

Take charge, adapt, overcome — this is the Beaver motto. Mostly business, the Beaver is gets the job at hand done with maximum efficiency and aplomb.  Strategic, and cunning the Beaver is a force to be reckoned with in matters of business and combat.  One might also think twice about engaging the Beaver in a match of wits — as his/her mental acuity is razor sharp.  The Beaver has everything going for him/her—however tendencies toward “my way or the highway” get them in trouble.  Yes, they are usually right, but the bearer of this Native American symbol may need to work on tact.  In a nurturing environment the Beaver can be compassionate, generous, helpful, and loyal.  Left to his/her own devices the Beaver can be nervous, cowardly, possessive, arrogant, and over-demanding.

Woodpeckers are usually the most nurturing of all the Native American animal symbols.  The consummate listener, totally empathic and understanding, the Woodpecker is the one to have on your side when you need support.  Of course, they make wonderful parents, and equally wonderful friends and partners.  Another proverbial feather in the Woodpeckers cap is the tendency to be naturally frugal, resourceful, and organized.  In a nurturing environment the Woodpecker is of course caring, devoted, and very romantic.  Left to his/her own devices the Woodpecker can be possessive, angry, jealous, and spiteful.

LIMITLESS MINDS: “3 Signs That You’ve Met Somebody From Your Past Life”

deja-vu-770x297-15

1.  You feel instant connection or repulsiveness.

When we think about people from our past lives, we often think of friends or relatives or even of people that we’d loved.  Often, when you run into somebody that you know from your past life, you feel immediate connection.  But what about a person that you didn’t like at all?  Sometimes, you might feel automatically repulsed by them.  No matter what, it’s a sign that you knew them before.

2.  Your connection is almost telepathic.

It doesn’t have to mean that you send each other mental messages.  It’s more like their ears ‘burn’ when we talk about them.  You might think of a person and just a second later receive an SMS by them, or you may feel of what next a person will say.  It’s a connection that is hard to explain and even harder to dismiss.

3.  You see it in their eyes.

Have you ever looked somebody in their eyes and been hypnotized?  Have you felt like you already looked into those eyes a million times before?  If those eyes look familiar to you, then it may be because you have seen them, but in your past life.  If it ever happens to you, pay attention.  Some people believe that eyes don’t change when you pass from one life into another, allowing us to recognize our spiritual companions through time.

What do you think?  Have you met anybody from your past life?
