JUDI LYNCH: “Practicing Spiritual Optimism”

“Learning how to live in the light of the spiritual consciousness while still in human form on the Earth is no easy task. How do we balance these two worlds together so that it makes sense?”

~Judi Lynch

The Earth needs our Spiritual Optimism now to create the energy to heal it. If we know right and wrong in our humanity, if it is possible to become part of the human mind to inherit not to hurt another living being, then let that spiritual optimism be our goal.

Practicing Spiritual Optimism

Have you ever known someone who, no matter what you say, continues to respond negatively to your suggestions after asking you for advice? Even if it appears they are destined to complain for a lifetime, remember that your words may just take more time to sink in. You might hear later, “I thought about what you said.” Also, there is more than just one answer to a life challenge, and the solution depends on the person along with the unique circumstances they are facing. We as humans operate on different levels of understanding. It’s not a judgment of good or better but of vibration, soul level, and maturity. We are on this Earth in a giant classroom filled with every ridiculous mixture of blood, bones, and consciousness through zillions of lifetimes spinning along in our own little universe. How do we stay optimistic when there is a divide, unrest, and hatred all around us?

Energy is something we can take responsibility for. Optimism creates an energy of hope and manifestation. If we want to manifest success and true ability to assist others in raising their vibration, it is imperative that we learn to control our energy fields. If we are still bitter, unforgiving, judgmental or seeking revenge, we will create a very shaky ground in which to walk our talk of living in loving spirit. If we could only look at someone and see the beauty of their face. The trueness of their heart through their soulful eyes, reading their words of pain and cry in empathy for what they have endured, we are learning. We learn how to recognize these feelings because we have felt them in the past and we sought out ways to heal them. We hold space for their tears. We also know that there is healing in letting those feelings evolve into a higher form of learning. Forgiveness, clarity, acceptance, compassion, and charity. Not only for others but for ourselves as well.

Spiritual Optimism is learning to flow with the lessons and glow with the blessings. If we are aware of our thoughts, words, and actions concerning our challenges, we can stop the self-doubt and criticism from bringing us and our vibration down. It’s okay to feel angry. It’s okay to feel slighted sometimes. It’s holding onto the feelings and letting them define us that makes us pessimistic. Anyone who tells you that thoughts don’t matter or that we are destined to live as our ancestors are listening to the voice of negativity. Soul mastery takes courage and perseverance. It takes a big heart but well worth the investment.

Learning how to live in the light of the spiritual consciousness while still in human form on the Earth is no easy task. How do we balance these two worlds together so that it makes sense? Very carefully it seems. If we go running off on cloud nine because we can feel the spirit, Intuit for others and heal by channeling energy then forget to pay the electric bill, it will get mighty cold in the house. If we know, there is more to this life than traffic jams, mean people and yes, bills, we are blessed to be sure. Many people have no clue what they are doing, why they are here or how they got here. It doesn’t mean they won’t learn over a lifetime of love, mistakes, missteps, crazy adventures and misguided fortune hunting.

Knowing what you believe in can help keep you optimistic as well. It gives you a base of peace to know that you have purpose and meaning. Helping others not because you were asked to but because it is a part of who you are. The human mind intertwined with the soul spinning in harmony and balance is the real power in our spiritual evolution. How long it takes us to get there is an arguable subject. The Earth needs our optimism now to create the energy to heal it.

The energy of hope can permeate the minds of those who have the power to help change it. If we understand this, we understand how history can be used about what to and what “not” to do. If we know right and wrong in our humanity, if it is possible to become part of the human mind to inherit not to hurt another living being, then let that optimism be our goal.

MELISA WANDREI: “The Art of Pain — Why the Dark Times Make Life Beautiful”

“But fullness — that is deep in our soul. When we have that, it never leaves. Fullness encompasses everything. It’s what allows us to be fully human in all the raw, real ways.”

~Melisa Wandrei

Happiness, and the quest for it, is not all it’s cracked up to be. What I mean is that I think we’re making a mistake in reaching only for happiness, lightness, good days, and good moods.

I think that we’re restricting ourselves.

We’re fishing in an ocean of emotions, looking to only reel in one or two kinds, throwing back the ones we don’t want without even noticing how shockingly beautiful they can be in their strange, confusing way, much like the fascinatingly mysterious fish of the deep sea.

There was a long time in my life when I wanted happiness, so I avoided pain. I wanted to call myself brave, so I didn’t admit I was afraid.

In my search for joy, I pushed away the other emotions I didn’t like, thinking I’d be left with only happiness.

But something was still wrong. I wasn’t full. By denying myself the plethora of emotions and feelings we, as human beings, are supposed to experience, I was only connecting with myself on a surface level.

I spent many of my days trying to achieve a persistent state of peace and happiness, and I wasn’t being honest with myself.

How could I just be happy when my heart was broken in two? When my own dad wouldn’t talk to me anymore? When I was uncertain and afraid of the future and the path I decided to take.

Yet all I wanted was happiness, and I kept pushing away anything else I felt that wasn’t “good.”

It took me a while to realize that I didn’t feel like myself anymore. And that was because I wasn’t. I was pretending to be a flat placard of peace and joy, which isn’t very real, is it?

I realized I was robbing my soul of all the emotions and feelings and desires it should have.

Every feeling and all the changes we go through become precious when we realize they are all necessary, and they create contrasting beauty in our lives.

Would you rather be happy, or would you rather be full inside?

Happiness is fleeting. It flits in and out of our days like a bird, singing a beautiful song that we want to revel in all our life, for one moment while the sky is blue, not to be found on the days with dark clouds on the horizon, heavy winds, and gray skies.

But fullness — that is deep in our soul. When we have that, it never leaves. Fullness encompasses everything. It’s what allows us to be fully human in all the raw, real ways.

We need the contrasts that fullness, not just happiness, provides us. How else can we know true joy if we have never known sorrow? How can we feel and trust the deepest kind of love if we have never felt heartbreak?

In art, this is called chiaroscuro. It’s the play of light and dark within a picture, the idea that you need dark shading on one side in order to notice where the light is supposed to hit on the other.

I believe that art reflects life.

I think that by suppressing emotions we don’t like, such as fear and uncertainty and pain, we are taking away the shading of our own image. We’re denying ourselves the beautiful picture that needs the contrasts and shadows in order to be complete.

Sometimes, two seemingly conflicting emotions can fit together and coexist. Have you ever felt that? Maybe you have pain inside you that you suppressed, and suddenly another person finds a way to gently bring it to the surface.

That person and their kind eyes bring warmth to your heart, even while the pain is being laid bare.

Happiness can fill your chest and sadness can well in your eyes until they are entwined in a beautifully poignant harmony. This is chiaroscuro in its most desired form — the shadow contrasting with the brilliant light, creating a depth and fullness that couldn’t be reached any other way.

Don’t ever think that being so paralyzed by fear you don’t know how to take a step, or feeling angry and betrayed, or sobbing while your heart is in shreds, or feeling lonely or confused or uncertain or whatever you feel, is wrong or not good.

It’s your shading, your shadows, making up the complete, beautifully exquisite image of your soul and your life.

THERESA DUVAUCHELLE: “8 Simple Steps To Manifest Anything You Want”

“It is time to start dreaming big.  It is time for you to manifest the life you have always wanted to live. There is nothing holding you back you are a creator and this is what you came here to do.  You had to be a master at manifesting before you incarnated and it is time for you to remember who you are and how to attain the life you want to live to be the example you set out to be.”

~Theresa Duvauchelle

If you knew how powerful your thoughts were you would never think a negative thought again.  Most people get caught up in their thoughts and are unable to attain the life that they desire.  The day to day things just get in the way more and more and you are frustrated to no end.  The more you think about the bills and not having enough money the more bills you acquire.  You pray for the madness to stop but it keeps coming full force.

Did you know that your thoughts are creating your future?

Did you know the thought waves you are sending out are actually asking for more of what you do not want?

The universe does not know the difference between wanting and not wanting.

The universe feels if you are giving thought it is something you want and grants your every wish.

Today, I am going to show you 8 ways that you can manifest the life you have dreamed of.

1. Gratitude

Show gratitude for everything and everyone you have in your life.  Gratitude is one one the things we often leave out and it is one of the most important steps in manifestation.  So if you are thinking I do not like where I live and try to manifest from there you will be going the wrong direction and just getting more of what you do not want.  When you show gratitude for the things you already have it opens the door for more to come through.

2. Visualize

You need to visualize what you wish to manifest, what you long for.  Your thoughts and visions have a creative force behind them so it is important to envision a clear picture of what you are desiring to attract into your life.  Be specific.  The universe is waiting for you to create so it can bring into existence exactly what aspire to have.  When you are visualizing make sure you are in the now like it has already happened. This is a very important step!

3. Vibration

Your vibration is what sets the tone for manifestation.  Like attracts like.  If you are vibrating high you are emitting love, happiness and fulfillment. If you are vibrating low you are emitting anger, sadness and despair.  So we always need to be mindful of the energy we are carrying from moment to moment.  We want to vibrate high and feel the energy in our stomach as it rises to our heart as we pulsate the energy.  Feel it, be it!

4. Eliminate

Get rid of what no longer serves you.  It is difficult to manifest something new when you are hanging onto the old.  We want to move into the present and leave the past behind.

5. Affirmations

When you affirm something you are actually acknowledging it to be authentic.  With repeating affirmations you are setting an intention for the universe to fulfill your wish.  Daily repetition affords that you are purposefully creating your future.  Some examples of affirmations are as follows.

I am open to receive abundance from the universe

I manifest my deepest desires daily

My dreams are coming to fruition

I am raising my vibration daily and manifesting what I desire

I am the creator of my experience

Everyday I am moving towards my goals
I am confident and successful

These are just a few examples to get you started.

6. No Doubt

You want to release any fears or the thought that you cannot have what you are yearning for.  Believe that you can have anything your heart desires without a doubt.  It is so much easier to swim with the current rather than swimming upstream.  In order to achieve this you need stop thinking analytically and start feeling with your heart.

7. Receive

Ask and you shall receive.  Be open to receive and make sure it is what you want.  Know that you are deserving to receive.  This will open the door to abundance and allow you to manifest quickly with ease.

8. Dream

It is time to start dreaming big. It is time for you to manifest the life you have always wanted to live.  There is nothing holding you back you are a creator and this is what you came here to do.  You had to be a master at manifesting before you incarnated and it is time for you to remember who you are and how to attain the life you want to live to be the example you set out to be.

If you follow these eight easy steps, you should be well on your way to manifesting anything you want.  The power is in your hands and it is time to create.  Have fun and live!

Blessings.

TONI EMERSON: “Can We Live In A Constant State Of Love?”

constant-state-of-love-2

When we fall in love, our heart becomes full of feel-good qualities that infuse our life with joy and excitement. Everything feels light, fresh and more vibrant. We wake up to a brighter day, the air is warmer, the sun is brighter, everything is right with the world.

Living life through the interactive and colorful kaleidoscope of love is one of the highest human experiences. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to capture this experience and transform it into a permanent state of being? In my next few articles, we will formulate our unique blueprint to reconnect to our love source and transition from experiences of love which come and go to living love at its fullest moment to moment.

Love & Emotions

Understanding the difference between love and the many feelings inspired by love is essential in realizing that love is the baseline from which everything else emerges.

As human beings, we experience many emotional states under love’s vast umbrella, yet each one of them fails to convey the totality of what love is. Love is not equal to the sum of its parts. It is far more powerful than transient emotions. It is an integral state of being waiting to be rediscovered.

Each deeply nourishing emotion ushered by love stands on its own merits and offers its own specific gifts. These emotions assist us in reaching our full potential as human being by deepening our interior faculties and also by giving us the human qualities that propel us into action to help others in need and to make our world a better world.

Love’s Ambassadors

Love’s ambassadors enrich our life experience and increase our range of perception. Love’s ambassadors are: compassion, joy, kindness, wisdom, peace, gratitude, equanimity, appreciation, pleasure, acceptance, intimacy, benevolence, grace, generosity, respect, sympathy, among others.

All these supreme heart qualities advocate on behalf of love and fall under its vast umbrella, but none of them define what love is. They suggest what love might feel like, they point in the direction of love, but they individually and collectively do not come close to the full spectrum of love’s power. Each heart quality is unique and offers special gifts. For example, appreciation may feel like love but actually represents a recognition of a certain quality. It has a finite characteristic. So does gratitude which has many uplifting vibrations and is essentially the crystal clear awareness and heartfelt acknowledgement of life’s gifts.

Compassion, Love’s Favorite Wingman

Many of these qualities are considered to be divine in nature because they embody the highest human values. Wisdom traditions foster these qualities of the heart while making the distinction between love and its ambassadors, most notably between love and compassion. The tender feeling evoked by compassion is considered to be a universal virtue, one we extend towards ourselves but more frequently towards other people’s suffering. Compassion has a global history with various ways of expression, depending on cultural differences, yet it has held throughout times its distinct benevolent meaning and its position as love’s favorite wingman.

One of the Buddhist interpretation of compassion is the desire to relieve sentient beings of suffering, while love is the desire to bring happiness to sentient beings.

The Christian tradition holds universal love to be the principal message of Jesus (the Gospels), with many direct references of love in the Bible, and compassion is viewed as the method for enacting this love as part of our responsibility to alleviate human suffering in the world.

In Hinduism, all love for others is considered self love as brahma (universal soul) manifested in the individual (atman) while seva (selfless service) is a central theme of life, practical compassion in action and our duty to humanity.

Love Is A State Of Being

“I’m not interested in being a “lover.” I’m interested in only being love.” — Ram Dass

Love evokes the largest colony of feelings known to man. Nothing else comes close. It commands basic emotions, activates a host of feel good feelings and also has the unique capacity to deactivate negative feelings on contact.

The power of love to dissolve negativity cannot be underestimated. This power becomes our closest ally in removing the emotional blocks that keep us isolated from our love source.

Love is not an emotion. Happiness, in contrast, is an emotion, and as with any other emotion, it comes and goes depending on the circumstances triggering it.

We often make the mistake of reducing love to the level of emotion, thereby diluting its power and settling for small love experiences that indeed come and go. If we become aware of this type of love, its qualities, where it comes from, why it comes up in our lives, we notice that generally the emotion we call love is but a shadow of the deeper state of love which is our essence.

Love is not sentimentality or even romanticism. Those are what we do with love to express its many delicious ways and plays.

When love is a state of being, we can actually experience unhappiness and still be rooted in love. We can feel love amidst other emotions. Love is the background on which all other emotional scenery go by.

These distinctions are sometimes faint, delicate, because they are translated according to the depth of our perception. Psychological well-being does not indicate the presence of love, but rather the absence of turmoil, and remains very dependent on the pendulum of life forever swinging from one side to the other, from pleasure to pain. Love as a state of being is independent of outside circumstances.

So far, we have been used to the smallest indication of what love really is. We have limited love to an intellectual idea or a set of well delineated beliefs. That is hardly satisfying to the soul, isn’t it? It does not come close to the actual experience of living in a state of love.
The absolute difference is to be felt, not just understood.

Searching for the state of being called love leads us to the ultimate discovery of who we really are and what our purpose is. Please join me on this adventure, and In the next articles let’s recognize together love in a new light and realize that it has been inside of us all along.

Love is just waiting to be discovered, again.

ANDREA SCHULMAN: “It’s True – Your Mind Plays Tricks On You”

It’s True - Your Mind Plays Tricks On You

by Andrea Schulman,
Guest writer, In5D.com

Like all people, I experience a range of emotions, some high and some low. At this point in my life, I’ve learned how to raise my vibration deliberately, and I am pretty good at hanging around in happiness for longer periods of time, but I’ve noticed my mind plays tricks on me when I’m in the lower vibrations. My guess is that yours does too!

See, when we are in the lower vibrations, we are a “match” to thoughts that mirror how we feel inside. When we are sad, the sad thoughts pile one on top of the next. When we are angry, more things to be angry about present themselves easily and relentlessly.

For instance, have you ever been upset at someone, and then every last little terrible thing they had ever done in their life suddenly popped into your memory? Have you ever been in an argument and just kept thinking of new reasons to be mad?

The truth is, when you are in a negative state, the floodgates of negative thoughts will open. Suddenly, there’s not just one reason to be mad, there’s a dozen. Almost instantaneously, there’s not just one reason to feel down, there’s a hundred more marching in behind it.

These thoughts don’t mean that you are failing, or making mistakes or headed toward a miserable end in life. It’s just the Law of Attraction, bringing you thoughts that you are a vibrational match to in a temporary state, that’s all.

This can be tricky for someone who is trying to deliberately raise his or her vibration. While you may want to “think positive,” thinking positive does not come naturally from a place of depression or anger.

This can be even trickier for someone who doesn’t know about the Law of Attraction, and it’s why many people get “stuck” in the lower vibrations for long periods of time.

Understanding this mechanism has been very helpful to me, and my hope is that it will be for you as well.

When the negative thoughts start to pile up, I’ve learned it can be very effective to remind myself of how attraction works. Instead of taking these thoughts too seriously, I’ll simply tell myself “The only reason why I am thinking these negative thoughts right now is because I am in a low vibrational state. When I am feeling better, it will all make sense and I’ll feel optimistic about my life again.”

This is helpful because it’s a quick reminder to me that good things can still happen for me, and when I feel a little happier, I’ll find the solutions I need and make the progress I am seeking. Instead of worrying and fussing and getting too caught up in the negativity, I remember these thoughts aren’t particularly rational, and they aren’t a true representation of me or my life.

The truth is, I’ve found my way to a smile or a laugh almost every single day of my life, and chances are you have too. Even people who don’t understand the power of positive thinking are known to be happy from time to time, and this means that our negative thoughts are never universally significant or valid. We are all seeking our happiness, and this is why even the most miserable people are usually still able to find it with regularity.

You are a powerful creator when you are happy, and anyone who can find happiness can become what they want to become.

This reminder gives me a little relief, and relief is exactly what you need when you are down to pick yourself back up. Relief is always the path back to happiness, and this statement can be an effective step in the right direction.

So when you’re upset or mad, and it seems like you’re getting nothing but hostile or depressing thoughts, remember that your mind plays tricks on you when you are down. From a low vibrational state, low vibrational thoughts are magnetized to you. However, when your mood bounces back up (and it always does) you will be a magnet for thoughts that remind you of your power and a stream of reasons to be happy and grateful for your life and everything in it-even the things that seem so awful in the moment.

You can do, be or have anything that you want, and you’ll see this truth more clearly when the storm passes. All you have to do is hang on for a little bit.
