DEBORAH KING: “7 Tips To Buff Up Your Chakra System”

one-animated-chakras-pretty.gif

Energy medicine promotes healing by working within an individual’s personal energetic field and seeing how it interacts with the larger energy field.  We can tell what’s happening with someone by checking in on their 7 main chakras, the centers of energy that run from the base of the spine up through the top of the head.

These 7 centers, along with up to 20 smaller chakras, govern our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.  In other words, chakras hold the secrets to how you feel about yourself and your world, how you get along with others, the condition of your body, your relationship to money, whether or not weight is a problem, how you make decisions, and your spiritual advancement.

That’s a lot to ask of something most people can’t see.  But then again, we can’t see the radioactive particles released from a damaged nuclear reactor either, and yet we take seriously their capability to affect our lives.  The energy centered in the chakras has a very profound effect on our lives.

So what can you do to create and maintain healthy and balanced chakras?  Here are seven sure-fire simple steps you can take to balance your chakras:

1. Connect to Mother Earth: Take a Walk in Nature.

The first chakra is your Root Chakra and is the very foundation of physical and emotional health.  It is your basic connection to Mother Earth — the roots you plant in the soil of your being.  This is where your physical strength lies, and the psychological strength to withstand whatever you have to deal with.

A simple walk barefoot on grass or a sandy beach will do wonders to ground you.  Hug a tree, go hiking in the wilderness, or visit a local park.  You don’t have to live in the countryside or mountains to strengthen this connection with Mother Nature.  Grounding yourself will give you the experience of  “I am here, and I am safe”  and this presence is so essential to your health.  Take time out of your day to make sure you make this connection and you will automatically strengthen your Root Chakra.

2. Calm your Body and Environment with Water.

The second chakra is the seat of sensuality, sexuality, emotion, and the inner child.  It governs how we relate in groups, how we establish inner and outer boundaries, and how we find pleasure.  A common problem related to the second chakra is addition.  You may be using drugs, alcohol, pills, food, smoking, exercise, or sex as ways to avoid dealing with your emotions, to numb yourself.  The physical problems of a poorly functioning second chakra are often the kinds of things that breed shame if the health issues concern their sexuality.  One way to heal the shame is to soak for at least 20 minutes in a bath of warm water with one pound each of sea salt and baking soda.  Imagine all your guilt and shame dissolving in the bath water and being washed away as you say: “I speak the truth and reclaim my true nature.  I am pure.  I am clean.”  Water is healing, and immersing yourself in water on a regular basis is a self-nurturing habit.

3. Get Moving!

The second chakra is the seat of our self-worth — our self esteem, will power, and personal power.  It is the seat of our mental body, where we identify with our ego and our individuality.  A strong will means we know what our goals are and have an idea of what we want to do.  The power in the third chakra is our right to act, to use our will, to follow through with what we start, to meet challenges head-on, and to not be stopped by fear.  You can balance your third chakra through physical movement, especially outside in the sun in the early morning or before sunset.  Don’t get too warm if you tend to be angry or short-tempered!  Physical movement awakens and recharges your body.  You can also try T’ai Chi, Yoga, or Pilates!

4. Love a Pet!

The fourth chakra is your heart chakra and it is the center point, where you merge the strength and support of Mother Earth from below with the wisdom and guidance from above that combine to make you a compassionate human being.  A poorly functioning fourth chakra can keep you in bondage to emotional attachment.  It is through your heart chakra that you can come to feel the presence of unconditional, unlimited love — for your self, for all beings, for the world and beyond.  One of the best ways to boost your heart chakra is through giving and receiving love with a pet.  Our pets love us unconditionally and make it safe for us to learn to love again.  Do you have room in your life to adopt a dog or cat?  You can feed your heart chakra and at the same time change this animal’s life forever in a positive way.  No room or time to adopt your own?  What about visiting your local shelter or even just visiting a friend’s friendly pet and sharing some love with them?

5. Express Yourself: Use your Voice.

The fifth chakra is our center of creativity.  This chakra is where we express our choices and communicate who we are.  Because our use of sound and communication purifies our lower selves and allows us to experience the higher vibrations of spirit, we can tune up our fifth chakra by expressing ourselves more clearly and exploring our creativity.  All creativity is a way to communicate what we feel.  Use your voice and read out loud your favorite book or poem.  Write something yourself and recite it!  Sing a song — in the shower, in your car wherever!  When your fifth chakra is in balance, you can live your dreams and visions, your greater purpose.  Let yourself be who you are and give yourself a voice!

6. Visualize and Find your Inner Sight.

The sixth chakra, or “third eye”, is the center of higher intellect.  The gifts of the spirit emerge in this chakra, like clairvoyance, telepathy, precognition, and psychokinesis.  You can boost this chakra by working to rid yourself of the clutter in your mind so you can “see” more clearly.  Daily meditation is a wonderful way to get rid of old beliefs and thought patterns that are holding you back.  When you have awakened the sixth chakra, you are in touch with inspiration, insight, wisdom, and vision.

7. Invite the Divine!

The seventh chakra, or crown chakra, connects us to spirit, our higher power, and the universe.  It lights up our consciousness. When our crown chakra is open, our perception is clearer, broader, and we are allowed to not only see our daily patterns, but also the deep metaphysical patterns of our lives.  Like the sixth chakra, meditation is a powerful tool to boosting this chakra.  Perhaps prayer or communion with nature will assist you as well.  Ask your own higher wisdom for guidance and signs that you are on the right path, and make time for yourself to listen for internal messages regarding purpose and direction.  Visualize positive and peaceful outcomes.  The truth that emerges will open the door for you to greater levels of connection.

Your chakras are all interconnected.  They embrace you as a whole person.  As you do the inner work of clearing and releasing past traumas, negativity and outmoded belief systems, you will lighten the load of your chakras.  Your energy will move into greater balance, and as a result, you will feel better.  So why not take the initiative and seek out ways to better balance your chakras?

GOSTICA: “11 Grounding Techniques For Empaths To Avoid Apathy And Depression”

grounding-techniques

Empaths, let’s all agree on one thing — I really think that it is a challenge for Empaths to stay grounded as they’re constantly being bombarded with a real mix of negative, external emotions.  Even if they stay home and don’t venture out of their personal sanctuaries, their empathic antennas are picking up so much of the pain from the outside world.

Because of this, empaths can easily become consumed with depression, listlessness and apathy and lose sight of what our roles here are to do.  All of the following techniques have been tried and tested by yours truly and I can attest to the benefits of them, although I have to say on the darker days, especially when there is a lot of solar activity, even these techniques don’t always clear the emotional debris.

GROUNDING TECHNIQUES FOR EMPATHS TO AVOID APATHY AND DEPRESSION:

1.) Change your thoughts

Yes, you should change your thoughts.  Many of us help create our life situations with the thoughts we keep, especially dark, repetitive ones.  From the second a negative thought pops into our head we only have a matter of moments before its settles in and changes our mindset from positive to negative, once this happens, one bad thought after another keeps rolling in.

The best way to avoid it is not to indulge in them in the first place.  When a dark thought pounces, change it, immediately, to a good one.  Sounds simple, it’s not.  It’s difficult, but we do have a choice about what we think (and feel).  We can allow our thoughts to rule us or we can rule our thoughts… Change your thoughts change your life!

2.) Exercise and play

In the western world many of us turn to exercise for the benefits of weight loss and a toned body.  However, exercise offers so much more: it can release pent-up emotions, remove impurities through sweat, enhances and uplifts moods, energizes and allows us to have fun.  Instead of referring to it as workout-time, we should call it playtime.

When it comes to playtime do what you love.  Some of you maybe stuck in a boring exercise routine that you do out of necessity rather than play.  If this is the case, find something you love.  What did you love to do as a child?  Being out on your bike?  Skipping?  Hula-Hooping?  Bouncing up and down on a trampoline?  Horse-riding?  All excellent forms of play (exercise).  If you detested running and were no good at it, chances are it will probably be the same now.  If you loved gymnastics then yoga will definitely be a great one for you to try.

If you don’t like rules, routines or set times then go freestyle.  Make the rules yourself.  Get the music music cranked up and dance like nobody’s watching (which it’s probably best if no one is whilst throwing your shapes out).  Dance, stretch and jump your cares away and get a sweat on.  All you need is 10 minutes a day, but I guarantee if you’re doing something you love those 10 minutes will easily turn into 20, 30 or 40… Who needs a gym or a class?

3.) Meditation

This is a must if you have a busy head with endless mind-chatter and fearful thoughts.  It will help you deal with stressful situations and give you clearer insight.  There are many forms of meditation out there; it’s just a case of finding what suits you.  If you’ve never attempted it here’s one to try:

Sit in a comfortable position with your back straight, close your eyes and, breathing through your nose, focus on your breath. Inhale for 3 seconds and exhale for 3 seconds.  On the inhale feel your tummy expand and on the exhale feel it deflate (Note: when you first try this it is common to get dizzy or feel anxious).  You will find, at first, your mind turns into a monkey and starts jumping all over the place, from one thought to the next, but just keep coming back to your breath.  Start with a few minutes and build it up to whatever suits you.

4.) Creativity

In a world of rules and routine, we seldom get time to be creative but this is one of the easiest ways to revel in the feel-good-factor.  When we create, from our passions or interests, it has an uplifting effect on our psyche and because we’re engaging in something we love it keeps our minds away from dark thoughts and feelings.

Many will say that they’re not creative because they don’t see themselves as artistic.  But you don’t have to be a master crafter or award-winning composer to indulge in creative outlets.  Simply making a dance routine, writing a story or poem, arranging flowers or devising a menu, are forms of creativity.  We all have a way to be creative, it maybe that you’ve just not discovered yours yet.

5.) Chakra balancing

The 3 best ways to self-balance our chakras is through: meditation, yoga or using crystals:

Yoga: The Five Tibetan rites is one form of yoga specifically designed to balance the chakras as well as short (10 to 20 minutes max), kick-ass workout for body and mind.

Meditation: Though doing either a guided, chakra meditation or just focusing positively on each one in turn will help keep them balanced.  You can get guided meditation CD’s at Amazon.com.  Check also: How To Balance Your 7 Chakras System

Crystals: The healing power of crystals has long been known in many cultures, from Atlantis to ancient Egypt.  Many ancients had crystal chambers that would be used to heal many an ailment.  Check: How To Heal Your Chakras With Crystals

6.) Laughter

As grown-ups we spend too much time being solemn and serious, and too little time having fun (especially in the current times).  Do you remember the last time you had a proper belly laugh?

“You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing!”

We hear children laugh all the time.  They don’t know how to take life seriously, it’s all about play and fun.  We should all strive to stay childlike. To see the world in wonder and above all have fun and laugh.  Anything that makes us laugh will make our spirits soar. It really is a therapy.

7.) Nature

Being outdoors in nature will have a healing and uplifting effect on all. If you work in a city with no access to parkland make sure you get out at weekends away from cars and air pollution.

8.) Essential Oils

As with crystals the healing power of essential oils has been known through the ages. It is through the olfactory senses that much benefit is derived from the oils. The best all round essential oil is Lavender because, unlike all other oils, it can be used without a carrier-oil and applied directly to the skin or put straight into your bath water (other oils can irritate the skin if used neat).  Amongst its many benefits, it is an antidepressant antiseptic, antifungal, it can even be used as a sleep aid.

9.) Love

The most important self-healing tool we have is love… it makes the world go round.  Doing what you love will uplift you more than anything else.  The Beatles were onto something when they sang, “All you need is love!”  Unfortunately, we are humans, having a human experience, in a human body and love is one of the last emotions we tend to bathe ourselves in.

10.) Truth

Truth is an all encompassing liberator and once you become an advocate your eyes will be opened to another world.

11.) Water

The body is made up of 75% water (some body tissue even contains 95%), so it will come as no surprise that this is way up there on the self-healing scale.  any of us are unaware of just how dehydrated we are.  An insufficient supply of water creates problems with the functioning of our body, affects our well-being, appearance and accelerates the aging process.  The heavier we are the more water we need.  If you type, ‘the healing powers of water,’ into any search engine you will get hundreds of pages worth of information on the subject, but by far the best I have so far come across is the site of Dr. F. Batmanghelidj M.D. who is a pioneer in the discoveries of the healing power of water.

Water washes more than just dirt away; it has the power to cleanse our energetic body and clear negative energies.  If you’re skeptical, try this when you come home from a hard day at work:  Instead of reaching for the wine, jump straight in the shower and see what a lifting effect it has on you.  Combine it with the healing power of salt and you’re onto a winner.

HANNES HAUSLER: “The 12-Chakra System And The Twinflame Process”

twin-flame-chakras-2

“Basically it is two people meeting, who do have a very similar or even the same base frequency of soul, which enables their souls to melt into one another.  These encounters are very intense.  You will be facing your greatest mirror, which will reflect all of your aspects, including your shadow and light aspects.  With this person, you can go through heaven and through hell.”

 ~Hannes Häusler

Are you feeling intense energies in these days?  Stomach cramping, pain, dizziness, tiredness and even fear of death can all be symptoms of you birthing the new chakra template.  For a few years now, there is more and more children being born with new chakras.  Some have 8, others have 13.  The template however is 12 Chakras.  The twelve-chakra system is the new/old template for human beings on earth.  Just as the frequency of mother earth will be raised from 7,83hz to 12-13hz, so will our chakra-system advance from a 7-Chakra-System to a 12-Chakra-System, which provides us with abilities to understand the higher frequencies, which are manifesting on earth right now.  Actually we have had these chakras in ancient times, when our consciousness was more advanced.  Now we are getting it back.

These chakras are not, as generally believed, above our other chakras, but rather they come into our “old” 7-Chakra-System and fill in the gaps, provide us with what we need at the moment. Their base function is adaptogenic, which means that they will adapt to your energetic environment and its needs. It will support our weaknesses as well as fuel our strengths.  Lets say, for instance, your life task lies within communication, you are either an author or a public speaker or something else related to communication, then you will most probably manifest a chakra close to your throat-chakra to support you in your communication processes.  Or lets assume, you have neglected your solar-plexus chakra for a while, meaning that you cannot really find a way to manifest yourself within society or you are scared to reveal your true self. In this case, you will more than likely manifest a chakra that is close to your plexus, which will help you to achieve your divine manifestation.  As stated above, the new template is that of 12 Chakras, but nevertheless the process is individual and solely depends on you and your needs and intentions.  The only thing, which is not predestined, is how far you will go, how many chakras you will activate throughout your lifetime.  The general templating process depends on how much you can integrate and change your understanding about the world.  When new energies are trying to manifest within us, this often entails that our old structures will ripple and tumble down.  So adapting to these energetic processes means that you will slowly let go of all your previous belief systems which were to some extent limiting or preventing you from reaching your highest potential.  This means, you will go back into your childhood and remove all traumas, which you have gone through either physically or mentally. The  key  to this process is allowance and acceptance.

What are some of the symptoms?

As was said above, the process to activating the new chakra-system within yourself necessitates that you are releasing all of the false belief systems and pains, which are keeping you locked in the average robotic mind-boggling of the modern human being.  Thus this process can be very painful and emotionally demanding, for releasing means that it brings all those aspects of yourself to the surface, which you have been trying to suppress up till now.  So as long as you let yourself act out everything which wants to be brought to light within your consciousness, you are on the right track.  Do not hesitate just because you think these emotions and thoughts are childish.  Just take a look at society, everything is based on this one childish, premature belief that we have to be better than others.  And thus this attitude will also prevent you from activating the new chakra-template within yourself.  The core is not developing the new chakra-system, but rather to expand your consciousness beyond what is perceived by the monkey mind.  Activating new chakras within yourself does not mean that you are better than others, who have not activated them yet.  It means that you have become a facilitator for others, it means that it is your duty to pass on to others these energetic imprints, to pass on your understandings which you have gained during this process.

Near-Death-Experiences are natural

Many people will have what we generally call Near Death Experiences while going through this process.  This is logical, for as something new is born, something old must die.  We can die physically, but also mentally, emotionally, psychically and spiritually and what more there is.  These are the basic 5 energy bodies, that make up the human spirit, so the physical, emotional, mental, psychic and spiritual body.

Freeing up the energies in the twinflame-process

Usually people, who are activating and integrating these higher energies, are having very intense encounters with the opposite sex or simply their opposite energetic imprint.  Lets call it twinflames, soul mates and there is a lot of other names and labels given to this phenomenon.  Basically it is two people meeting, who do have a very similar or even the same base frequency of soul, which enables their souls to melt into one another.  These encounters are very intense.  You will be facing your greatest mirror, which will reflect all of your aspects, including your shadow and light aspects.  With this person, you can go through heaven and through hell.  All of a sudden there will be vast changes within all the areas of your life.  This encounter affects all of the energy bodies and it releases all of the false imprints that we have allowed to manifest within ourselves.  The emotional body is the hardest to convince of the fact, that this process is positive for our development, for it holds all of the pains and belief systems, that have so far kept us in a protective energetic layer, preventing us from reaching the deeper, more painful (or not) layers of our personality, basically your highest potential.

Together with your twinflame, you are beginning to set free new energies, one after the other.  Basically it never comes to a halt.  According to our experiences, we have seen but a few people, except the children, who are going through this process of higher chakra activation by themselves.  Usually it is in connection with their twinflame.  Twin flames basically have a common aura, which makes it much easier to create the new energy system for there is much more space to create.  In our readings we take the new chakras as a true twinflame sign or an expansion of one’s consciousness through either entheogenic plants or deep meditative journeys.

Before a new chakra is being born, it usually channels all of the energies of the other chakras into its location in order to create enough energetic impulse to birth itself.  This can be very painful, some people get cramps in the stomach or other places of the body, depending on the location of the new chakra. Itching, piercing and burdensome feelings in one particular area are very usual symptoms.  Also people will start to feel really tired as this process is taking up a lot of energies and you need to rest in order to keep up with the process.

It is a process of moving closer into union with yourself.  The union with your twinflame mirrors the union with yourself.  Energetically you and your twinflame will reestablish the primordial connection to source.

The energies enable you to faster create your own Merkaba, energy body or whatever you want to call it, so to facilitate it for your to travel, see, feel, touch and move through other dimensional spaces, for you to recognize your multidimensional being, to create a space for your soul to grow and express itself.

What does the 12-Chakra-System look like?

Throughout the development within the twin flame partnership, the twins will get, each time they could raise their frequency and understanding, a new chakra added to their energy-system.  All of these 5 (or more) additional chakras serve higher purposes.  Starting on the bottom there is the 8th chakra, which is located between the solar plexus- and the heart chakra.  This chakra serves as an amplifier for divine manifestation and creation.  It helps to channel energies and stimulates the whole energy system of the body.  It is there to guide you in expressing yourself.  It brings the urge of establishing yourself within society up into the heart arena, so that all of your creations radiate from your heart, that you can only follow a path, job, life mission, which is in accordance with your heart chakra.  The 8th chakra is the mediator between the heart and the plexus.

Going one up is the 9th chakra.  Actually the order in which these chakras will be activated is not always the same (and they are not always the same).  While some will start with activating the 12th or the 9th, then others will start with the 8th.  So the 9th chakra is located between the heart-chakra and the throat-chakra. T his chakra helps us to better understand the multidimensional aspect of everything.  It increases our awareness of other dimensions, so symptoms of it being activated again could be hearing strange noises and frequencies, sometimes also seeing things moving about your visual field. With this chakra we can travel back and forth in time and for instance change our perspective on past traumas or other deep childhood memories.  The 9th chakra is a mediator for the heart and the throat chakra.  It brings our communication back into our center, our core, our essence, the heart.  It helps us to understand the wordless communication of the soul.

The next chakra, the 10th chakra can be found on the back of the head, where the neuroscientists have located the visual field.  This chakra is dealing with imagination.  When it opens you start to see a lot of images that lighten up your thoughts.  Everything gets very vivid, while emotions will be experienced in another intensity.  It generally has to do with memories.  The process to open this one, is one of the most painful, because it brings back all of your traumatic or painful experiences, which you have transferred and cemented into belief systems.  But it also brings you back to your primordial memories, the memories of your soul, of your source.  So it always is just a matter of perspective, you are the one through the looking glass, you can either see your experiences as being a burden for your spirit or a challenge and a possibility for you to step up and face yourself, breed your consciousness to the next level.

Going two more up, we will find the 11th and the 12th chakras just above the two brain hemispheres, in its middle resides the crown chakra.  These chakras catalyse and harmonize the feminine and masculine energies of the human body.  Together they will connect with the crown chakra and actually all other chakras and make a balance between the two brain hemispheres.  They channel divine inspiration and can help to energetically understand the unity in duality.  Uniting these two energies is the same process that you have been going through with your twinflame, now its within you.

The whole process of activating and opening these chakras is like a birthing process, where in the end it will help the soul to better express itself to the mind, so that one can find unity and understanding.  It raises our intentions to follow the divine purpose.  Of course the human energy field can have even more than just 12 chakras, but this 12-Chakra-System is the first step for us to evolve as spiritual beings.

This is the general template of the ancient/new 12-Chakra-System.  As was stated above, the process of the activation of your higher chakras is not always the same and some people might have chakras in very strange areas, but those will always serve them individually.

Other Chakras diverging from the Template

We are working as twinflame healers already since a couple of years.  Edina, my twinflame, can read the aura since she is a child, but only since we have met, have we begun to develop and deepen our abilities of seeing, feeling and working with energies.

So we have seen other chakras appearing on different locations, of which one is on the back of the body at the height of the sex-chakra.  This chakra was by far the biggest that we have seen and it is build up like a clock with 12 tinier chakras on each hour-scale.  The function of this chakra is like a motor.  It stirs up the whole energy system, catalysing and boosting all other chakras.  It is an addition to the sex-chakra, which is the seat of our life-force energy, our sexual energy, our kundalini flow.

Also we have seen a new chakra popping up at the back of the neck.  This chakra especially serves communication and as was said in the beginning can help those, who have their job or mission in the arena of writing, speaking and teaching.  This chakra together with the motor chakra builds up a pyramid through the assemblage point, which is another very important energetic feature of our energy system.  The assemblage point guards and controls our perceptions.  So this connection can help us to shift our perception of how we generally communicate and of how to use our sexual energy (motor chakra).  Sexual energy is the main force which constitutes and builds up our dream awareness.  Lucid dreaming solely depends on our sexual capacities, but this is yet another topic, which will be spared for yet another article.

We have also seen people who had an additional root chakra.  Their task is one of designing homes, of creating the trust and root within oneself, the earth and the universe.  These people are usually very grounded and they can bring their instincts to the next level, to connect it with their intuitions and channeled thoughts, which brings us to the next deviant chakra.

This is located just above the third-eye chakra and actually it is two chakras.  The first chakra is emitting turquoise energy, while the upper one has some kind of rainbow-colored energy transmission.  At one point they will start to fuse with the third-eye-chakra, which results in the amplification of the intuitive processes altogether.  People activating this chakra will be much more capable to filter out the truth behind everything.  These chakras help us to see the human aura and other dimensions in general.

Of course there is even more chakras appearing elsewhere.  It depends on you, you are the architect, the builder, you create your own energy system, so be creative!

RESHMA PATEL: “Warning Signs That Your Chakras Are Out Of Balance”

There are 7 main energy centers in the body, known as chakras. Each chakra is located throughout our body so that it correlates to specific body ailment and physical dysfunctions; each energy center also houses our mental and emotional strengths. When we have a physical issue, it creates weaknesses in our emotional behavior. When we release the stale energy from the body, it can undo any tightness, stiffness, or malfunction of that area.

The clearing of the energy can also balance our emotional state of mind. The Chakra Mind-Body Balance is a two-way street: if there are certain fears and emotions we are holding on to, we experience physical restrictions, too.

If you have achiness or stiffness, or certain reoccurring emotions and fears, read along and you may find out which chakra is affected or blocked.

1st or Root Chakra

Sits at the base of your spine, at your tailbone.

Physical imbalances in the root chakra include problems in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, immune system, male reproductive parts and prostrate gland. Those with imbalances here are also likely to experience issues of degenerative arthritis, knee pain, sciatica, eating disorders, and constipation.

Emotional imbalances include feelings affecting our basic survival needs: money, shelter and food; ability to provide for life’s necessities.

When this chakra is balance, you feel supported, a sense of connection and safety to the physical world, and grounded.

The lesson of this chakra is self-preservation; we have a right to be here.

2nd or Sacral Chakra

Located two inches below your navel.

Physical imbalances include sexual and reproductive issues, urinary problems, kidney dysfunctions, hip, pelvic and low back pain.

Emotional imbalances include our commitment to relationships. Our ability to express our emotions. Our ability to have fun, play based on desires, creativity, pleasure, sexuality. Fears of impotence, betrayal, addictions.

When this chakra is balanced, we have an ability to take risks, we are creative, we are committed. We are passionate, sexual and outgoing.

The lesson of this chakra is to honor others.

3rd or Solar Plexus Chakra

Located three inches above your navel.

Physical imbalances include digestive problems, liver dysfunction, chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, pancreas and gallbladder issues, colon diseases.

Emotional imbalances include issues of personal power and self-esteem, our inner critic comes out. Fears of rejection, criticism, physical appearances.

When this chakra is balanced, we feel self-respect and self-compassion. We feel in control, assertive, confident.

The lesson of this chakra is self-acceptance.

4th or Heart Chakra

Located at the heart.

Physical imbalances include asthma, heart disease, lung disease, issues with breasts, lymphatic systems, upper back and shoulder problems, arm and wrist pain.

Emotional imbalances include issues of the heart; over-loving to the point of suffocation, jealousy, abandonment, anger, bitterness. Fear of loneliness.

When this chakra is balanced we feel joy, gratitude, love and compassion, forgiveness flows freely, trust is gained.

The lesson of this chakra is I Love.

5th or Throat Chakra

Located at the throat.

Physical imbalances include thyroid issues, sore throats, laryngitis, TMJ, ear infections, ulcers, any facial problems (chin, cheek, lips, tongue problems) neck and shoulder pain.

Emotional imbalances include issues of self-expression through communication, both spoken or written. Fear of no power or choice. No willpower or being out of control.

When this chakra is balanced, we have free flowing of words, expression, communication. We are honest and truthful yet firm. We are good listeners.

The lesson of this chakra is to speak up and let your voice be heard.

6th or Third Eye Chakra

Located in the middle of the eyebrows, in the center of the forehead.

Physical imbalances include headaches, blurred vision, sinus issues, eyestrain, seizures, hearing loss, hormone function.

Emotional imbalances include issues with moodiness, volatility, and self-reflection; An inability to look at ones own fears, and to learn from others. Day-dream often and live in a world with exaggerated imagination.

When this chakra is balanced we feel clear, focused, and can determine between truth and illusion. We are open to receiving wisdom and insight.

The lesson of this chakra is to see the big picture.

7th or Crown Chakra

Located at the top of the head.

Physical imbalance include depression, inability to learn, sensitivity to light, sound, environment.

Emotional imbalances include issues with self-knowledge and greater power. Imbalances arise from rigid thoughts on religion and spirituality, constant confusion, carry prejudices, “analysis paralysis.” Fear of alienation.

When this chakra is balanced, we live in the present moment. We have an unshakeable trust in our inner guidance.

The lesson of this chakra is live mindfully.
