CONSCIOUS REMINDER: “This ’18 Breaths’ Meditation Will Help You Unlock The Powers Of The Merkaba”

Today, we are going to represent a meditation exercise which is used to unlock Merkaba’s powers.

We should prepare our space where we will meditate and follow the given steps.

This is a really advanced technique in meditation. The meditation exercise for unlocking our Merkaba and its powers consists of eighteen breaths during three stages.

Stage 1: Gaining balance

Every breath that we take is yogic, which means that we inhale through our nose, filling our abdomen, then our diaphragm, and then our chest in this order, and exhale in this same order right before we relax.

Breaths have to be seven seconds apart, although the most important thing is to accomplish consistency, however.

First breath

While we breathe in, we should touch our thumbs to our forefingers. We should imagine how some white light is surrounding us while we open our heart to experience love.

While we breathe out, we should cross our eyes slightly and then look up slowly. We may feel some energies trickling down our spine.

From the second to the fifth breath

The breaths from the second to the fifth one are identical, except we need to change the position of our hands or our “mudra.”

With every breath that we take, we should move our thumb along one finger, meaning that our fifth breath happens when we are touching our little fingers.

Sixth breath

We should come back to the mudra like in our second breath, having our thumb on our middle finger.

During this position, we have to feel clear, balanced, and polarized. When we don’t feel like that, we should repeat the stages until we do.

Stage 2: Build our pranic energy.

The stage number two will build our pranic energy, which we need for the last stage.

From the seventh to the thirteenth breath

We have to change our mudra in order for our thumbs to meet our middle fingers and forefingers. Every time we breathe in, energy is going to flow right from the energy tube’s bottom or top, building the sphere of the white light in our navel.

With every exhale, this sphere is going to become more powerful, stretching our chakra system towards its limits, and stretching those limits for our following breath too.

Fourteenth breath

Right after the thirteenth breath, out pranic energy will be stable. On breath number fourteen, we need to breathe in to permit this pranic sphere actually to shift from our navel to our sternum. We will lock it right where it is if we breathe out.

If all this doesn’t work, we need to return and try once again. If we haven’t achieved our pranic stability, the last four breaths are not going to work.

Stage 3: Spin our Merkaba

During the last stage, we have to stabilize and also speed up our Merkaba rotation. We have to change our mudra once again for the rest of the breaths. For females, the right palm has to be placed over the left one, and vice versa for males.

Fifteenth breath

We should imagine how opposing tetrahedrons are spinning in opposite directions. In fact, one of the males is spinning counter-clockwise, while one of the females is spinning clockwise.

We should breathe in as before; however, before we do that, we should make a small hole with our lips and exhale with pressure. While we do that, the speed of rotation of those tetrahedrons is going to increase too.

Sixteenth and seventeenths breaths

We are supposed to do the same; however, we should first increase our speed of doing it. While the speed increases, we should feel how the energy builds.

We should also make sure that both rotate at an identical speed, and when we lose our balance, we should stop.

Eighteenth breath

In fact, with this final breath, we should permit our higher selves to inhabit our bodies as our Merkaba will reach its full power. We may also experience a short period of “being elsewhere,” and euphoria will come together with it.

DEJAN DAVCEVSKI: “Practice Deep Breathing Each Day For 5 Minutes!”

MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW POWERFUL DEEP BREATHING CAN BE.

The past couple of months we focused on activities you should do, how you should improve your nutrition and eating habits.

This month we will do something easier and simpler, however, something that has possibly the highest potential of improving the quality of your life.

Most people don’t know how to breathe properly.

They do not activate their full breathing capacity. However, when you breathe fully you refresh your whole being.

You won’t believe how good you will feel just after 1 minute of deep breathing. If you manage to make it a daily habit you will drastically improve the quality of your life.

Practice deep breathing each day for 5 minutes!

The best time to do this is different for everyone and different days might even demand different moments when you should practice it.

However, if you want to make it a habit, choose what’s better for you, mornings or evenings, and create a reminder to take deep breaths for 5 minutes.

Find a relaxing position, or you can do it standing if you can’t find where to sit. And just breathe. Inhale fully in 3 seconds, hold 4 seconds, exhale in 5 seconds.

Do this for 5 minutes each day and notice how you feel after each session. This is a powerful habit for relaxation, bringing mind clarity and refreshing your emotions.

It’s also purifying for your body and spirit as deep breaths activate your full breathing capacity and take away negativity.

THICH NHAT HANH: “We Need a Revolution — It Starts with Falling in Love with the Earth”

The Earth is our mother, nourishing and protecting us in every moment — giving us air to breathe, fresh water to drink, food to eat and healing herbs to cure us when we are sick.  Every breath we inhale contains our planet’s nitrogen, oxygen, water vapor and trace elements.  When we breathe with mindfulness, we can experience our interbeing with the Earth’s delicate atmosphere, with all the plants, and even with the sun, whose light makes possible the miracle of photosynthesis.  With every breath, we can experience communion.  With every breath, we can savor the wonders of life.

We need to change our way of thinking and seeing things.  We need to realise that the Earth is not just our environment.  The Earth is not something outside of us.  Breathing with mindfulness and contemplating your body, you realise that you are the Earth.  You realise that your consciousness is also the consciousness of the Earth.  Look around you — what you see is not your environment, it is you.

Great Mother Earth

Whatever nationality or culture we belong to, whatever religion we follow, whether we’re Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Jews, or atheists, we can all see that the Earth is not inert matter.  She is a great being, who has herself given birth to many other great beings — including Buddhas and bodhisattvas, prophets and saints, sons and daughters of God and humankind.  The Earth is a loving mother, nurturing and protecting all peoples and all species without discrimination.

When you realise the Earth is so much more than simply your environment, you’ll be moved to protect her in the same way as you would yourself.  This is the kind of awareness, the kind of awakening that we need, and the future of the planet depends on whether we’re able to cultivate this insight or not.  The Earth and all species on Earth are in real danger.  Yet if we can develop a deep relationship with the Earth, we’ll have enough love, strength and awakening in order to change our way of life.

Falling in Love

We can all experience a feeling of deep admiration and love when we see the great harmony, elegance and beauty of the Earth.  A simple branch of a cherry blossom, the shell of a snail or the wing of a bat — all bear witness to the Earth’s masterful creativity.  Every advance in our scientific understanding deepens our admiration and love for this wondrous planet.  When we can truly see and understand the Earth, love is born in our hearts.  We feel connected.  That is the meaning of love: To be at one.

Only when we’ve truly fallen back in love with the Earth will our actions spring from reverence, and the insight of our interconnectedness.  Yet many of us have become alienated from the Earth.  We are lost, isolated and lonely.  We work too hard, our lives are too busy, and we are restless and distracted, losing ourselves in consumption.  But the Earth is always there for us, offering us everything we need for our nourishment and healing: The miraculous grain of corn, the refreshing stream, the fragrant forest, the majestic snow-capped mountain peak, and the joyful birdsong at dawn.

True Happiness is Made of Love

Many of us think we need more money, more power or more status before we can be happy.  We’re so busy spending our lives chasing after money, power and status that we ignore all the conditions for happiness already available.  At the same time, we lose ourselves in buying and consuming things we don’t need, putting a heavy strain on both our bodies and the planet.  Yet much of what we drink, eat, watch, read or listen to, is toxic and is polluting our bodies and minds with violence, anger, fear and despair.

As well as the carbon dioxide pollution of our physical environment, we can speak of the spiritual pollution of our human environment: The toxic and destructive atmosphere we’re creating with our way of consuming.  We need to consume in such a way that truly sustains our peace and happiness.  Only when we’re sustainable as humans will our civilization become sustainable.  It is possible to be happy in the here and the now.

We don’t need to consume a lot to be happy; in fact, we can live very simply.  With mindfulness, any moment can become a happy moment.  Savoring one simple breath, taking a moment to stop and contemplate the bright blue sky, or to fully enjoy the presence of a loved one, can be more than enough to make us happy.  Each one of us needs to come back to reconnect with ourselves, with our loved ones and with the Earth.  It’s not money, power or consuming that can make us happy, but having love and understanding in our heart.

The Bread in Your Hand is the Body of the Cosmos

We need to consume in such a way that keeps our compassion alive.  And yet many of us consume in a way that is very violent.  Forests are cut down to raise cattle for beef, or to grow grain for liquor, while millions in the world are dying of starvation.  Reducing the amount of meat we eat and alcohol we consume by 50% is a true act of love for ourselves, for the Earth and for one another.  Eating with compassion can already help transform the situation our planet is facing, and restore balance to ourselves and the Earth.

Nothing is More Important than Brotherhood and Sisterhood

There’s a revolution that needs to happen and it starts from inside each one of us.  We need to wake up and fall in love with Earth.   We’ve been homo sapiens for a long time. Now it’s time to become homo conscious.  Our love and admiration for the Earth has the power to unite us and remove all boundaries, separation and discrimination.  Centuries of individualism and competition have brought about tremendous destruction and alienation.  We need to re-establish true communication — true communion — with ourselves, with the Earth, and with one another, as children of the same mother.  We need more than new technology to protect the planet.  We need real community and co-operation.

All civilisations are impermanent and must come to an end one day.  But if we continue on our current course, there’s no doubt that our civilisation will be destroyed sooner than we think.  The Earth may need millions of years to heal, to retrieve her balance and restore her beauty.  She will be able to recover, but we humans and many other species will disappear, until the Earth can generate conditions to bring us forth again in new forms.  Once we can accept the impermanence of our civilization with peace, we will be liberated from our fear.  Only then will we have the strength, awakening and love we need to bring us together.  Cherishing our precious Earth — falling in love with the Earth — is not an obligation.  It is a matter of personal and collective happiness and survival.

ALEXA PELLEGRINI: “The Power of Water for Healing and Spiritual Growth”

Art-39a-700x325 (2)

Our organs and our cells are comprised of water – in fact, up to 60% of our bodies is made from water alone! Yet as a society, we continue to forget the healing benefits of water and consistently choose soft drinks, coffee, flavored water and energy drinks as water substitutes. Water – and not Vitamin water or sparkling soda, but real, pure water is your best friend on your journey to repairing your mental and physical health and increasing your vitality.

Why Water is Vital to Your Overall Health

Imagine a dam in a river that’s been closed off. Suddenly, the river’s flow begins to weaken, and everything that’s a part of the river’s ecosystem begins to fall apart. Fish and small mammals can no longer absorb the nutrients they need from the water. Waste from the river has nowhere to go, so its population dies off. When the water disappears, so does the vitality of the environment. The human body operates similarly: without water to usher nutrients and proteins throughout the body, the body’s organs begin to shut down. Even the food we absorb can’t be properly digested without water to act as a lubricant. Without water, our body also has no way to expel toxins or pollutants, which increases our chances of acquiring serious ailments from constipation to cancer. The body’s ‘ecosystem’ perishes.

There’s one organ in your body that needs water the most: your brain! The brain is 75% water. Without proper water intake, the clarity of your thinking will decrease and you may be in a perpetual state of fatigue without knowing why. The best way to preserve your brain health and boost its performance is not just to use it, but to nurture it and care for it. Your brain never stops running, and it requires constant fuel. So, before you reach for that cup of coffee in the morning, start your daily routine off on the right foot by showing some love to your gray matter and having an 8 ounce glass of water.

Power of Water

Water Not Only Nourishes Us – it Also Heals the Soul

Water has always been emphasized for its nutritional value, but its other healing benefits shouldn’t be overlooked. Even observing the ocean or a flowing stream of water can soothe the troubled mind. Perhaps one of the reasons we feel so comfortable in the water and listening to the sounds of rushing water is because it mimics the fetal state. From conception, we develop while floating in the embryonic fluids of our mother’s womb. Floating on the surface of a warm bath or pool can draw us into a state of total comfort and relaxation as we subconsciously return to feeling completely nurtured and protected, just like we did before birth. When we surrender our need to be physically grounded and allow the water to hold us, we also lose our need for rigid self-control and total self-reliance. One of the best ways to mentally unwind and relieve stress is to go for a swim, then float on your back and do some simple deep breathing.

Power of WaterSalt water is also a wonderful natural alternative to traditional anti-inflammatory agents. Gargling with salt water helps strip away excess mucus and bacteria lingering at the back of the throat and in the tonsils to either prevent or treat a cold and a bad sore throat. Bathing in warm salt water or swimming in the sea can help dry up acne, scab over minor open wounds and encourage the drainage of harmful toxins from the lymph nodes.

Listening to water during meditation and visualizing water are two excellent ways to help reduce stress after a long, difficult day. The body, when held in a constant state of tension for long periods of time, has been proven to suffer – scientists have found a link between consistently high stress levels and an increased chance of getting heart disease, cancer, anxiety disorders and other serious conditions. The following exercise will help you take advantage of the healing power of water to reduce your stress levels and stay well.

Step 1: Begin by taking some deep breaths. Continue to breathe until you quiet your thoughts and feel relaxed.

Step 2: Start to envision any kind of water: an ocean, a stream, a brook, even the rain. Construct this visual in your mind, then try to picture what the water sounds like. Focus solely on the images and sounds running through your mind. How does the sight and sound of the water make you feel?

Step 3: Now, picture immersing yourself in the water. Whether it’s allowing the rain to glide over your skin, or diving head-first into a beautiful, warm pool, visualize your anxiety, fear, anger and stress melting away as soon as the water touches your body.

Step 4: Close the exercise with a few deep breaths, and exit the meditation feeling cleansed and revitalized.

BRENDA BENTLEY: “Breathe”

Breathe

In my last blog, I invited you to stay tuned so I could share my treasure chest of jewels with you. One of the gems I’d like to share with you today is breathing. I always like to walk my talk and did just that this weekend in Lake Tahoe. When I find myself a little out of sorts or at least, off center, I make time to connect with the great Mother Earth.

Treasure Chest

Our breath and the air we breathe is a powerful bridge that connects heaven and earth. It is this divine life giving source that raises our vibrational frequency placing us in the flow of our own well-being. When I need to reconnect, I find a sweet spot in mother nature where I take a few deep breaths and do just that – reconnect. As an alternative, when I cannot get out but need to center myself, I use guided imagery and visualize a quiet place. I close my eyes, relax and focus on my breathing… and reconnect.

On a recent visit to Lake Tahoe, I was gifted with majestic trees, birds singing, clean air, snowcapped mountains (in mid-June, that is) and rushing water. Leaning against the trees, listening to water rushing down the mountain into the lake, I breathed deeply and with every exhale released my cares, confusion and challenges to the Universe. I would like to share this gift (minus the snow), with you this guide imagery I envisioned. Enjoy. Breathe in and release your cares.

Guided Imagery

“BREATHE… in through your nose and out through your mouth. And as you do, picture yourself in one of your favorite spots in nature. Perhaps it’s the beach with the gentle breeze touching your skin, or a path in the woods filled with the fresh scents, deep roots, and clean air. Or maybe you’re high up in the mountains with the swift sound of water rushing by. Inhale deeply and feel it flow throughout your body.

Notice your breath as if it were an old friend and notice how you choose to breathe. Is it shallow, like the passing breeze amongst the trees offering you breathing room only? Or, is it deep, full body awareness- filling your lungs, diaphragm and belly with the life giving force that it is? Like the surging energy of the waterfall, feel the abundance and breathe deeply – moving that energy all the way into your totally relaxed body. You begin to notice a more expanded awareness as you shift your consciousness to higher levels and you begin to connect your body, mind and spirit with that of the Universe. You become ONE with all that is.When you become one with your breath, pay attention to how your body just lets go. Peace. Serenity. Now, let that feeling of peace and relaxation wash over you, as you become more centered, focused, and divinely attuned and in touch with Mother Earth. Relax. Imagine a beautiful, healing, golden yellow light resting over the top of your head. It is a warm, gentle golden light that bathes you with its divine healing energy slowly moving into your body, relaxing you more and more.

Divine Golden Light Energy

With each breath you breathe, allow this golden healing energy to flow to you and through you. And as you do, you begin to release any old outmoded thoughts, feelings, beliefs or patterns that no longer serve you. Instead, BREATHE. Invite new feelings of compassion, self-love, self-worth and self-acceptance to flow to you and through you – right down into the cellular core level of your being.

This is your time to re-connect, re-charge, re-center, and re-discover your true divine self. When faced with challenges, fears, or restrictions, remember – slow down, pause and breathe deeply.

Art-90

It is the divine gift of breath that allows you to create your heart’s desire. What is it you desire? Like the air you breathe and the wind on your skin, your mind becomes open and receptive to the concept of change. This is good for the time has come. Feel the winds of change blowing and the rushing waters flowing through your body, your mind and your spirit. Your breath is working for you right now. And, it feels good to tap into these higher sources of wisdom.

Whenever you’re ready, slowly bring your awareness and your breath back to this present moment, now. Feeling centered and back in charge, remember you carry this gem with you and can retrieve it when needed.”

This week, I invite you to Stop, Breathe, Reflect, and Choose. Have fun as you invite breath in to inspire you in new ways. Who knows, what you’ll discover as your heart’s desire. In my next blog, I’ll share more gems from my treasure chest so stay tuned.

In the meantime, feel free to share this post with others and let me know one of your special gems you’d like to share.

Blessings filled with love and light,

Brenda
