FIONA EDGAR: “Neptune Retrograde Will Bring Us A Deception-Filled Summer”

“It’s important to read through the lines and rely on intuition rather than the words of others around us or the media. During this period it’s vital that we allow ourselves to know and fully experience the truth, no matter how ugly it is, than to be comforted by lies.”

~Fiona Edgar

Neptune starts its retrograde journey tomorrow on June 21st — the summer solstice — at 18° Pisces and will appear to travel backward through the skies until the 27th of November, where it will turn direct at 15°. The retrograde is an optical illusion but its energetic effects are very real and affect us profoundly on a spiritual level.

The chart for the retrograde features a square between Jupiter and Neptune which increases the risk of confusion, illusion and deception and making important decisions may feel difficult. On the positive side, Saturn in sextile to Neptune will help us to see the truth and we’ll be rewarded for acting accordingly and not buying into any fantasies. Neptune retrograde acts as a doorway to real spiritual and emotional progress as long as we use self-awareness and remain open to identifying and working on our flaws, rather than pretending that they don’t exist or blaming others for our problems. Above anything else, remaining moral and doing the right thing will bring us the best results, even though it may seem like the more challenging option.

During this transit we’re being given the opportunity to see our lives more clearly, letting go of any fantasies and illusions and to live in truth, bringing healing to our relationships and any wounds from the past that have continued to cause confusion. This is a good time to conquer any addictions such as smoking, alcohol and drugs and dissolve the more negative Neptunian traits such as embellishing the truth or playing the victim.

Some of the lessons of this retrograde may involve dealing with situations that call for us to use discernment and we should avoid starting relationships or getting tangled up in situations that are based on lies or deception as these will cause loss and pain later on. It’s important to read through the lines and rely on intuition rather than the words of others around us or the media. During this period it’s vital that we allow ourselves to know and fully experience the truth, no matter how ugly it is, than to be comforted by lies. Regular meditation is a tool that will help us over the next few months as it’s much easier to live with honor and truth when we’re in touch with our own spirits. It’s almost impossible to fool someone who has developed their intuition so we should make working on this a priority.

The energies of this transit will help us to focus and make better choices and it’s a good time to take a look back at our lives and identify any situations where we created karma due to making the wrong decisions that had a negative impact on other people, or by doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. When we find ourselves in the same repeating situation with different people, maybe it’s time to figure out why we’re allowing them into our lives, or how we can change the cycle and hack reality. This is something that can easily be identified by our birth charts.

Working with the highest frequencies of Neptune retrograde will allow us to gain a more clear understanding of our hopes and dreams for the future and the universe will support us in making those dreams a reality. We may find the tools to build something that once seemed impossible and we may have an epiphany about issues that have been bothering us for the last few months.

SARA COUGHLIN: “Uranus Has Another Trick Up Its Sleeve And Yes — That Trick Is A Retrograde”

Take a deep breath, stargazers. Now that August has arrived, we’re in the home stretch of summer 2018, aka the summer of retrogrades.

Before we’re out of the woods, however, Uranus would like to join the fun. The planet of sudden change, revolution, and upheaval begins its annual retrograde on Tuesday, August 7.

This isn’t Uranus’ first attempt to stir the pot this year. Back in May, this planet moved into Taurus which, as astrologer Kimberly Peta Dewhirst told Refinery29 at the time, kicked off a new astrological era of change, particularly around how we use money and care for the Earth.

Where that process will take place over the next seven years, Uranus’ retrograde only lasts five months — and, while Uranus in Taurus is expected to exert changes on an external, global scale, Uranus retrograde will incite changes within us.

Retrogrades have a way of urging us to focus on our inner lives. Think about how Mars retrograde tests our tempers or Jupiter retrograde interrogates our approach to learning.

Viewed from this angle, planetary retrogrades are just regularly scheduled lessons we have to learn in order to make personal progress. Uranus retrogrades are no exception. Specifically, they’re thought to show us how we might adapt to the ever-shifting world around us — if we let them, that is.

As astrologer Jamie King writes, these periods tend to arrive in time to help us either adjust our outlook to fit a recent development or prepare for future growth. In case you haven’t been reading your horoscope, this summer’s eclipse season (two occurred last month and there’s one more to come on August 11) is likely to set off plenty of changes in our lives, professional andpersonal. So, yes, we’d consider this year’s Uranus retrograde to be extremely well-timed.

That said, you probably won’t feel this retrograde’s influence in the same way that you’re feeling, say, the current Mercury retrograde. Uranus’ distance from Earth makes its effects on our personal lives pretty subtle, if not downright sneaky.

You might find yourself coming around on a plan you initially resisted or you might learn something new that leads you to view a change at work in a whole new light. These shifts in your mindset will occur gradually and may seem minor at first, but they’re likely to lead to bigger, even major, progress.

For the record, when we say “progress,” we simply mean forward movement — Uranus likes to affect great change, but it’s less concerned with who benefits from it. With luck, you’ll receive the cues of this retrograde and learn to roll with the good and the bad that comes your way in the next five months.

ZOE DAVENPORT: “New Moon Energy Update”

“If movement and music feel good in the heart, if it brings a smile it will be feeling good for the body, allow the voice to also activate through what sounds it needs to make to clear through those unspoken words.  Scream, shout, let it all out with this new moon as the energy will certainly carry an expanded potential to release on the subatomic layers of your being.”

~Zoe Davenport

If you have been feeling the collective energies it could be described as somewhat chaotic and a sense of moving backwards in time as the mind looks to rationalise the emotions coming out to play by hashing up old events, stories and timelines.

As we are moving into a very important part of 2018, to keep on track with what the heart is communicating on more subtle levels through the body, intuition and allowing things to sit and wait out a little more before acting upon.

The most effective way to clear through any old stuck energy right now is movement, get outside and play in the sunshine, dance around in your living room listening to your favourite music, shaking, jiggling, anything to get the body moving through the cellular memories of old beliefs.

It’s a conditioning with the mind/body and spirit to balance out so the cells can restore through the cleansing of carbon density, move into a more fluid way of creation, and resonate with more light.  This comes from attuned vibration through activating your energies in a way that is taking away from the mind and rational thoughts to stepping into what FEELS good in the NOW.  This new moon is will be feeling good with movement, play, jumping!

If movement and music feel good in the heart, if it brings a smile it will be feeling good for the body, allow the voice to also activate through what sounds it needs to make to clear through those unspoken words.  Scream, shout, let it all out with this new moon as the energy will certainly carry an expanded potential to release on the subatomic layers of your being.

This is a time to be inspired though yang, action through joy, movement through alignment to what the body needs to wake up, get going to flow through.

Talking is done, there is no more need to keep going over the “minds” “rational” version of events right now, it is quicker to call the body to the party to let go and surrender through being free in the moment to express how it needs to.

This will be a powerful time leading up to the summer solstice energies on the 21st June 2018 and the new moon movement energies are able to hold the frequency to the newness of what wants to manifest into the second half of 2018.

The movement will create a balance energetically as the body is feeling safe through self-expression and joy to release stuck beliefs.

This is a time of newness as our bodies are shifting and are needed to be loved unconditionally through the process, the old loops and cycles of past events cannot settle when there is a continued flow of energy throughout so keep moving and shaking and this yang will hold us safe through the shifts.

Set the intentions and allow it to feel good in the body, in the energy centers, in the heart, call in for support from the collective, and continue to play through each emotion by understanding then moving and activating the voice.

Don’t be afraid of self-expression through movement and play it will be an integral part to ascension and stepping into more fluid dimensional experiences and stuck energy cannot shift when the focus is on stuck energy is needs fluidity and light to flush through.  Much like the body detoxes so too the energetic systems need a clearing and moving, shaking and the voice will support and expand this process.

Shake, shake, shake, dance, jiggle, wiggle, scream, shout, let it ALL out, these old paradigm emotions have no space to reside within the cells of joy and love so allow a joyful new practice to come into motion this coming week and you will feel more abundantly supported, clear less stuck and spacious within the cells.

Abundant Blessings | Zoe Davenport

SANDRA VARCAS: “Mercury Retrograde In Capricorn And Sagittarius: Dec 19th, 2016 — Jan 8th, 2017”

gnfd.gif

Our True Face

Conjunct Pluto as it stations retrograde in Capricorn, this is an incisive Mercury with little patience for subjectivity, or sensitivity for that matter!  We may be disappointed if we want life to go gently with our feelings as the year closes, for there are more potent agendas at work, in service of truth-telling and revelation no matter the cost.  This Mercury wants to squeeze the last drops of wisdom out of 2016 before the new year begins, and won’t let anything be swept beneath the carpet for a more convenient time.  In the spirit of effective closure and resolution of unfinished business, this is an important time to clear the air and face up to whatever in our life has become undeniable.

It has been an explosive year, what with the Uranis/Eris conjunction and the Saturn/Neptune square The personal and collective shadow is being purged.  Brought to light for all to see, it has at times triggered panic and despair alongside strengthened commitment to forge new paths and a deepening of faith in our ability to both endure and transform.  We are immersed in this process now, and will be for quite some time.  We are nowhere near out of the woods.  Far from it.  And this melting pot of sometimes traumatic change cannot be escaped.  Renewal of our commitment to a radical realignment with a more vibrant, courageous and heart-centered existence will become increasingly vital in the months ahead.  Meanwhile, Mercury insists that we face up to the truths of our lives, the secrets we guard and the shame we feel but deny.  It deplores artifice and rejects pretense.  This Mercury seeks only the straight-up truth which it insists we honor with every breath.

Doing so may not come naturally, but the more deeply we embrace unpalatable truths the freer we become.  It’s okay to not be the person we want to be or have insisted we are.  It’s alright to be flawed, messed up, an emotional wreck barely getting by!  At this juncture it’s not what we are that matters, but how honest we are about it.  If we present a face to the world which isn’t as real as it could be, obscuring aspects of our nature we’d prefer to deny, this Mercury retrograde could see our true face exposed for all to see.  If, however, we can simply let go and accept this is me, warts and all, like it or lump it and take me as you find me, we may just discover that the rejection we feared is replaced with love and support, acceptance and deepening respect.

Above all, it is now vital to remember the more candid we can be about our own truth, the less others will have to hide.  What we do for one we do for all, and the more people who add honesty and authenticity to the collective soup, the easier it becomes for us all to do the same.  We are none of us perfect in egoic eyes, and yet all are precious gems through the eyes of love.  The more we can love our own flaws and failings, quirks, foibles and idiosyncrasies the easier it becomes to accept those of others and see beyond the charade of who we pretend to be.

There is much to be done in the coming year.  Great challenges lie ahead and we are nowhere near done with this shadow revelation.  But we can each contribute to a more tolerant and progressive world by dropping our own pretense, embracing the truth of who we are and daring to share it with those around us, knowing that doing so helps them do the same.  What we endeavor to hide will be unceremoniously revealed; where we aim to deceive, we will fail; what we pretend, will be exposed as a lie.  On this we can absolutely rely as Mercury and Pluto do their work deep within the fabric of our lives.  But truth, authenticity, honesty and good-natured humor — even in the face of our greatest challenges — will all contribute to an atmosphere of acceptance, support and love, allowing compassion to rise like a bubble and dissolve even the most well-crafted and deep-rooted lie.

SELACIA: “Tips for Riding December’s Energy Wave”

energy-waves

Set your intention now to do what you can to calm frayed nerves, get fresh perspectives, repair relationship discord, and find a new inspiration for your life path.”

~Selacia

In this article I’ll describe some of the energies we will be dealing with in December, and what they may mean for you on a personal level. First, as background, it’s quite common that how a year ends sets the tone of how the next one starts. I’m speaking in general here, not so much about your personal life. As you continue reading though, invite your inner wisdom to show you what applies to you personally, and how you can put in action some simple remedies for challenging energies.

Recent Energies

Regardless of where you live or your life circumstances, these past several weeks and months have involved challenging energies and stressful outer world circumstances. Most likely right now, you have more questions than answers – involving a host of things – due in part to the craziness that has unfolded globally. The U.S. elections, as an example, involved such unusual happenings that they represent a marker moment that will only be fully understood months or years from now.

We have moved through key energy thresholds the past couple of months, another on its way in December. Each one of these thresholds is a reality check of sorts, all of us and humanity moving through a new crossroads and needing to consciously choose how we together move forward. It is essential that we stay awake and actively participate in these moments, even if sometimes we may prefer to take a long vacation or simply disconnect from what’s going on.

What’s in Store for December

Here are a few highlights of what’s in store for December: First, it’s the holiday season, that time of year when time seems to evaporate and we tend to be in celebration mode and spend time with family and friends. If you typically find the holidays challenging, this year’s intense energies could stir even more squabbles with people. These quarrels may be personal or they may relate to outer world events. Reduce tensions and enjoy your time more with active self-censoring of words you might later regret. Remember: you don’t have to agree on everything to love people – give people space.

Second, the first week of December is an excellent time to connect with inspirations, self-confidence, and insights about your life and projects either under way or on your future wish list. Be sure to take some down time for reflection and pay attention to social connections that may bring nice surprises and tangible support for your next steps. Think big picture. Many people you meet may at first appear unconnected to your future life, yet they indeed are directly or indirectly helpful conduits for you. It goes both ways, too – you are helped by them and vice versa.

Third, note your calendar for the December 13 Supermoon. This will be a powerful Gemini Full Moon, with a focus on key endings and leaving behind outmoded approaches and situations. Themes or issues that come into your awareness at this Supermoon can be further explored and worked with during the rest of the month. Key times for inner work on these include the week of the December 21 Solstice and the final week of the year including at the December 28 New Moon. Consider these dates as cosmic opportunities along a pathway that leads to a brand-new destination where you can more fully embody the light that you are, and be successful in the process.

Tips for Riding December’s Energy Wave

Answering Your Wake Up Call: Think of December as your wake up call about your status quo. Use these last days of the year to go deeper than normal with your self-reflection. You deserve the quiet time to do this, and in 2017 you will be grateful to yourself for claiming the time! No one will give the time to you unless you take it. Be greedy with this time. Consider this: the more resourced you are on all levels, the happier you will be. As you feel more tranquil, more fulfilled, and more confident about your place in the world, your ability to contribute to others increases by leaps and bounds.

Five Questions to Ask Daily: To accelerate your progress with letting go of the old and creating brand-new life templates, here are five questions to ask daily:

  1. What inspires me to do the work I do or live as I am living?
  2. What is motivating me to change direction or add something to my life?
  3. What is the good involved with my current challenge or troublesome situation?
  4. How am I sabotaging myself with self-talk?
  5. What is the one thing most important to keep and the one thing most important to leave behind as I move forward?

Be honest with yourself about answers you receive to these questions. Allow for the possibility, as you ask these daily, that some answers either change or are expanded upon. Be open to the possibility that in your simple act of questioning, the universe opens a quantum treasure chest of helpful insights and validations about your path ahead. Know that no matter what, you are a divine changemaker, alive now for a unique purpose and part to play in the awakening of humanity.
