BARBARA BUCK: “Ascension and Our Pets — How We Can Support Them”

“Species like horses, cats, bunnies, and dogs have chosen to help humans in a way that’s different from other animals. They participate in our healing by being interconnected with us in a way that is unique to the planet.”

~Barbara Buck

What happens to your pets when you level up? I’m happy to tell you that, not only do they get to come along, but they’ve been supporting you and the planet through this process for a very long time. They’re going through their own form of Ascension, as well as ushering us into 5D.

When the Harmonic Convergence happened in 1987, we received a massive influx of higher frequencies, and they keep on coming. Many people are slowly beginning to understand that humanity is going through a spiritual awakening that’s both extraordinary and difficult.

While we went through the process of waking up, nature and the animal kingdom grounded and balanced the new frequencies into the Earth’s grid while we learned how to effectively do it ourselves. We’ve only recently been able to hold the light on our own, much to the hard work of the animal kingdom.

Our Pets Help Us as We Shift Frequencies

Species like horses, cats, bunnies, and dogs have chosen to help humans in a way that’s different from other animals. They participate in our healing by being interconnected with us in a way that is unique to the planet.

Animals will take on clearing for their human families in a number of ways. They’ll often absorb the negative energies we give off, which can make them sick. Many animals will have challenges with behavior as they try to integrate and clear the energy we create when we have stuck stress or emotions.

They’ll also act as shadow mirrors for us so that we can see what work we need to do to resolve trauma. If we have tension or anxiety, our dogs will mirror it by being reactive, aggressive, or destructive. If we are always afraid, so are our animals.

If they drive us crazy, it’s only so that we can recognize what we’ve chosen to avoid for so long.

Living in Human Homes Makes Their Ascension Process Harder

Normally animals would be able to process and purge the energy they absorb from us by grounding, eating a healthy natural diet, getting plenty of rest, and drinking fresh water. Sadly, we restrict them from being outdoors in nature when they need it, give them processed food like kibbles, and tap water or filtered water that doesn’t have the proper mineral balance.

They’re inundated with chemicals from pesticides and household cleaners. Remember, they spend most of their time on the ground, so they pick up all this stuff on their paws and coats, as well as breathing it in.

Environmental pollution, electrical interference, and radiation from things like wifi, computers, and cell phones don’t help, either. They’re constantly working to keep their frequency high while going through this Ascension cycle, but they’ve got a LOT to fight against when they live in a human home.

Pets experience Ascension symptoms as a result of being connected to us. Here are a few signs your pet might be having them:

  • Behavior issues like reactivity, separation anxiety, insecurity, fear, depression
  • Autistic and ADD-like behavior
  • Digestive issues
  • Joint pain
  • Picky eating
  • Liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and kidney disorders
  • An improper sense of justice that causes reactivity
  • Fatigue
  • Excess shedding that’s not normal for the breed, or loss of feathers
  • Excessive urination
  • Needing either too much attention or too much alone time

Once we become aware that our pets are experiencing Ascension symptoms that they normally wouldn’t if they were still part of the natural order of things, there are steps we can take to remove some of the energetic burden they carry. Here are some tips that can help.

As in all things, use discernment and practice common sense.

Give Them Better Quality Food and Water

Most people who are actively going through the shift naturally turn toward a more healthy lifestyle. They choose higher vibrational foods and steer clear of harsh chemicals and anything that’s processed or unnatural. Animals need the same thing, but we’ve kind of got them trapped, so they can’t do what they need to do to stay physically healthy.

Many pet food manufacturers use offal and poor quality ingredients that aren’t fit for human consumption. Meat is sourced from animals that were sick, euthanized, or died of natural causes in factory farms that process meat meant for people. Studies have also found shelter kill (cats and dogs) and euthanasia drugs in some dog foods.

The pet food industry is self-regulated, so there are no real rules about what they can and can’t do. They can and do feed your pets trash without recourse.

Research the best natural diet for your pet, then do your best to provide it. If money or time is an issue and you absolutely must feed kibble or other processed food, then research where the manufacturer sources the ingredients, especially the meat. Educate yourself on this.

Don’t fill your pet’s bowls with tap water if you wouldn’t drink it yourself. I live in the desert where the tap water is chemically treated, so we use an RO filter and replace nutrients with trace minerals.

Create a Safe Energetic Environment

Whether your animals are in your home, backyard, or barn, they need a space that is healthy.

Check for electromagnetic interference around your pets sleeping and hanging out areas, and if you find it, take steps to correct it. This could be as simple as turning off wifi at night because your pet is right in the line of the signal, or getting a blanket that shields them from EMF overload.

Protective crystals like shungite and kyanite can be used around a pet’s area, but be careful they’re in a place where your pet can’t get to them. You can also attach crystal pendants to a collar or bridle.

Many people like to burn sage to clear a space, but animals can be very sensitive to smoke from herbs. A better option is to make lavender or rosemary water and spray it around the area of your home you want to clear.

Help Them Heal with Energy Medicine

Pets can get really depleted energetically, so helping them clear and recharge with healing modalities like Reiki, Reconnective Healing, or Golden Frequency can be very helpful. They normally get all the energy they need from their environment, but that’s hard to do when they live indoors.

Most animals will let you know when they want healing from you. Intend to share energy with them, and if your pet wants it, they’ll usually come and sit near you. Sometimes they’ll even put the body part they need help with right on you!

Acupuncture, massage, and craniosacral therapy are also great tools to help your animal become more balanced energetically.

Use Natural Supplements and Medicine

The liver, gall bladder, and pancreas can be responsible for many Ascension symptoms, so supplemental support can be very helpful. Milk thistle tincture (alcohol-free) can be safely added to pet food or water to detox these organs and decrease inflammation.

As our pets move up the frequency ladder, minerals can get depleted, and they can also have a hard time absorbing nutrients. Add trace minerals or Bioplasma cell salts to their water.

Using natural remedies instead of medication whenever possible can have a big impact on your pet’s health. Always make sure that what you’re giving your pet is species-appropriate.

There’s been a big push by veterinarians lately to medicate reactive or fearful dogs with drugs like Prozac and Xanax. These drugs have never been tested for safety with animals and can have severe side-effects and a risk of overdose. CBD hemp oil is a non-psychotropic drug that’s safe for most animals.

Heal Yourself, Heal Your Pet

I’ve been blessed to facilitate healings for thousands of animals over the years, and I’ve noticed that they tend to mirror their owner’s illnesses. People with autoimmune diseases have dogs with autoimmune diseases, and stressed out people have anxious dogs.

They bless us with the gift of showing us the things that are hard for us to see.

The more self-work we do, the easier it is for us to support our beloved animals through the Ascension process. They won’t have to process as much negative energy for us as we release and clear the denser vibrations we’ve accumulated.

SPIRITUAL UNITE: “Can Spirit Guides Appear In Your Dreams?”

dream-guides

In this article we discuss spirit guides in dreams.  You should be aware that spirit guides often visit you in your dreams, if you are the lucky one to notice them, then you could be receiving advice and guidance.  Some people are aware that they are communicating with their spirit guides in their dreams.

Spirit Guides In Dreams Are Powerful

Their appearance can be very dramatic so that we can never disregard them, they may appear as a powerful figure.  Sometimes they like to tone down their appearance and they will be someone very ordinary, but there will always be something extraordinary about them, maybe their striking eyes or magnificent voice.  They can appear as someone old or young.

If you have the right focus, then you can comprehend the messages they may express to you.

You may be wondering what these communications are about?  Truly these messages are distinctive.  Guides may appear to offer you support, maybe a hint of the future if you keep following the path you are on.  Sometimes they can convey messages of failure.

They Are Here To Help And Guide

Spirit guides in dreams may communicate with you so you can develop yourself more spiritually.  You could be someone who does not have the required self confidence, or need to develop yourself in ways you can be better in your life.  No matter what the issues you may have, your spirit guides can offer you advice in that area.

Spirit Guides Can Appear As Animals

Occasionally spirit guides may appear as pleasant animals in your dreams and talk to you.  You may have noticed elderly people who are close to death can be seen talking to someone who is not present.  They are really communicating with their spirit guides.

When you see animals in your dreams, this is your spirit guides way of contacting you in a non threatening way.  If you see animals in your dreams, you should write down your experience with them.  When you are awake you can decipher their messages.

They Will Be There For You When The Time Is Right

However if you feel your spirit guides are not visiting you in dreams, it doesn’t mean they are not present, it could be that you don’t need their help at this time.  If you would like them to appear in dreams, before going to bed ask them for assistance.

Its important to have a care free attitude and not be desperate to see your spirit guides.  They will appear when its ideal time for them to guide you.  So relax and keep going in the path you have chosen.

Spirit guides in dreams will never appear as frightening, neither will they attempt to scare you.  They are benevolent, most often they are your deceased relative.

Now that you know who is visiting you in your dreams, enjoy the messages and guidance they are providing you.

LJ VANIER: “15 Spirit Animal Totems You May Encounter — And What They Mean”

 Dreaming With Dolphins

I don’t know about you, but I love interpreting the symbols I see in my dreams. I keep a journal next to my bed and make a conscious choice before I go to sleep to wake in the night, sometimes I even set an alarm to awaken abruptly so I can see what symbols are in my mind to write them down or draw, for later for interpretation.

Our dreams give us clear insight as to what is going on in our subconscious minds and when we can remember our dreams with clarity, deep insights can be found that bring profound meaning as it relates to our everyday situations in physical life, as well as our soul journey in the eternal realms.

Spirit animals are important symbols that guide our journey and their meanings should never be overlooked. As each bring with them great wisdom that will give you a higher perspective of your world.

Here are 15 of the most common and most potent spirit animal symbols and their interpretations.

Alligator

A symbol of status, power and bringer of ancient knowledge, when an alligator comes into your dreams, keep your eyes open. This animal totem is giving you clear sight to see beyond the emotional waters you have been swept up in.

The alligator comes as a warning to get control of your emotions and balance yourself, just as the alligator can dwell on land or sea you too must balance your polarities. Alligators are deeply connected with Mother Nature and are fierce and fearless. An alligator will guide you to make proper judgement in the decisions you are currently facing.  (also crocodile)

Antelope

A symbol of “the way” the antelope comes bounding into your life to bring you a message to follow your instincts and trust yourself. It’s time to take action, listen to your quick wits and your intellect and in doing this, the path will become clear. The antelope is curious and sociable, yet keen to dash at the slightest trace of danger. Be on alert for the good the bad and the ugly.

Bear

A symbol of the great mother, the bear brings healing, courage, leadership, strength and protection. The bear may come to you when you need emotional support, strength and healing. The bear provides the grounding forces needed to obtain balance.

When the bear visits you in your dreams pay attention to how you feel. If the bear is charging at you or you are being chased, this may indicate that your beliefs and ideals are being questioned. It is time to hold your ground, stand up for yourself and have confidence.

“The Great Bear in Britain and Ireland is Arth, who, with her starry son Arthur, identities our beginnings with the Bear constellation, and the typical Seven Stars and Constellations. The Ainos, or hairy men in the Island of Jesso, the most northern part of Japan, trace their beginnings back to a bear and a dog. They say that the first human being was a woman, who, when the world was formed out of the waters, floated on the deep carrying fishing and hunting gear. She landed on an island, where she dwelt alone in a beautiful garden, which still exists although no man can find it. The loss of this paradise is connected with the increase and dispersion of the race, following the advent of a ” protector” whom she had permitted to enter the garden which was their Eden of the fore-world.”

Natural Genesis

Buffalo

A symbol of gratitude, appreciation and abundance the buffalo brings the lesson of being thankful for what we already have. When our disposition is one of acceptance rather than expectation, abundance manifests easily.

ALETHEIA LUNA: “Soul Communication: 7 Ways Your True Self is Trying to Guide You”

soul-communication (3)

Shamans, medicine people, mystics and sages throughout the ages have always known that the soul doesn’t speak the human language.

Instead, our souls communicate with us through symbols, metaphors, archetypes, poetry, deep feelings and magic. The human language is far too limiting to express the full spectrum of profound knowledge, insight and revelation that the soul has to share.

As such, most of us were never taught to tune into the dancing rhythms of our deepest selves. Instead, due to our social conditioning we have come to heavily rely on the mind only and its interpretation of reality. Unfortunately, our emphasis on hard data, facts and linear logic has left a gaping hole inside of us. We fill this empty hole with consumerism, addictions, violence and endless distractions.

Sometimes, a traumatic or extreme event in our lives shakes us out of our habitual way of perceiving existence. But usually, most of us tend to miss the big, glaring daily signs that the soul within us is trying to communicate with us. Not only that, but we tend to actively mistrust, ignore or doubt any sacred form of communication that we receive.

How can we begin to tune into the subtle voice of the soul and rewire our conditioned brains? How can we listen to our soul’s vital messages and nourish ourselves with its life-changing wisdom?

Soul Communication: 7 Important Signs to Look Out For

how-to-soul-communication

Soul communication isn’t just reserved for medicine men or women, or enlightened people; it is a birth right of every man, woman and child. It is a vital part of soulwork.

For years I lived without the guidance of my soul, actively ignoring it or numbing myself out from its voice. Since reconnecting with my soul, I have discovered that it offers endless gifts, insights, teachings and direction that helps me to connect with my innate wholeness and life purpose.

Observing the people in our society, I’m saddened to see how soulfully emaciated we are. I can immediately tell whether a person has gotten in touch with their soul or not by the lustre in their skin, the glow in their eyes and the type of energy they transmit. Unfortunately, most people are shells of what they could truly become. It’s almost like we are living our lives grabbing at whatever source of warmth we can scavenge, when in truth, we are the fire and warmth we’re seeking for.

If you’d like to learn soul communication, you must first pay attention to the signs that your soul is whispering. There are many types of signs out there, but below I have compiled some of the main ones you should look out for:

1. Dream signs

In the West, psychologists believe that dreams are the unconscious mind’s way of making sense of reality. But in ancient cultures, such as in Egypt and Greece, dreams were messages from the spirits, gods, or divine realm. Many indigenous cultures have also used dreams as a gateway to higher consciousness and revelation (e.g. native Americans).

These days, most healers agree that dreams express important messages and truths about our lives and destinies. In my experience, dreams can serve as doorways to new insight, reflections of true inner feelings, and even portals to interacting with spirit guides.

Pay attention to your dreams and the images, symbols and scenarios within them. What stands out to you? You might like to keep a dream journal and record your immediate impressions. Please note that dream dictionaries can sometimes help you out, but they rarely convey the true message your dream is trying to transmit to you. Why? Dreams and the archetypes/symbology within them are highly contextual and personal. A snake, for instance, could be a positive sign for one person, and a negative sign for another.

2. Lucid dreams

Spontaneous lucid dreams involve suddenly becoming aware that you’re dreaming while asleep. Becoming conscious within your dream world is not only spiritually symbolic (literally of “waking up”), but it is also an opportunity to explore the hidden realm of your unconscious mind. This opportunity from your soul is rare, or it could be constant without any effort on your behalf.

Regardless, it is possible to actively practice lucid dreaming. You might like to learn more about lucid dreaming here.

If you’re in the habit of having spontaneous lucid dreams, treat it as a sacred gift. Very few people have access to the depths of the unconscious realms. Treat this as an opportunity to ask yourself questions and find direction that you wouldn’t be able to otherwise access in waking life.

3. Repetitive words or numbers

How many times have you looked at the clock and seen “11:11,” “12:12,” “13:13”? Many skeptics say that putting importance into repetitive words and numbers is a reflection of something called “confirmation bias,” but I personally don’t believe this is the case. It’s easy to be cynical and use the left-brained approach, but much harder to explore the personal meaning of these experiences.

Regardless of the meaning we assign to repetitive words and numbers, the function of them is to momentarily “wake us up.” Otherwise, why would we give them so much significance? Whenever I see a repeated number or hear a name/word said constantly, I take it as a sign of soul communication.

So whenever you have a picture, word or number repeated, ask yourself, what is the hidden message?

4. Animal omens and guides

Most of us come across animals every day. When you pay attention to these different animals, you realize that each one has a specific teaching, message or energy type.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that the meaning you assign to different animals is highly personal and not necessarily the “orthodox” meaning already established out there. So don’t feel the need to go by the “textbook” definition. Go with your gut.

One way of discovering your own unique meanings is to observe what animals you constantly come across every day. Watch them and try to understand what their teaching is. What are they revealing? How do they behave, move or sound? This is a powerful form of soul communication.

For example, you might constantly come across crows. Watching these crows, you might realize that they are always very loud and agitated. The message you might assign to these animal messengers could be that you need to pay more attention to the emotions you have suppressed so that they can be released.

5. Synchronicity or serendipity

Have you ever had a string of events happen in a way that seemed special or out of the ordinary? You might refer to these events as “serendipity” when in fact they may have been something known as “synchronicity.

What is synchronicity? Synchronicities are moments of meaningful coincidence, where our inner and outer worlds align. Often synchronicity is a good way to tell that you are on the right soul path because everything feels as though it is unfolding without your conscious effort. You might even have the sensation that Life/God is playing an active hand in making your dreams or aspirations come true.

It is my personal belief that nothing happens by chance, and coincidence is an illusion. I believe, at a core soul and spirit level, everything is interconnected. Science attests to the fact that everything is energy. So what is synchronicity? In my mind it is when the vibration of our thoughts matches with the vibration of our personal destinies. Picture a funnel of water: you don’t need to force the water to go through, the water goes through effortlessly.

So watch out for moments of synchronicity — they are powerful reflections that you’re on the right path.

6. Gut feelings

A gut feeling is an unexplainable sensation that tells you to do (or not do) something. Another synonym for this phrase is the word intuition. We all know what intuition is, but most of us have trouble listening to it.

Intuition is different from the inner voice of fear because it is subtle, calm and centered, as opposed to being frantic or aggressive. This is a very important distinction to make. Many people believe they are being guided by intuition when in fact they are being guided by their fearful inner talk.

Intuition, or gut feelings, can be thought of as the voice of our souls communicating to us. Whenever you feel drawn towards something or someone (without a fearful motive), you can be sure that this is your soul trying to guide you.

7. Visions during meditation

Meditation is another way to contact your soul. That calm, spacious, infinitely loving space you have entered before (even for just for a few seconds)? That is your soul space.

Meditating for long periods of time (30 minutes or more) is a powerful way to experience what has been referred to as the mystical experience. One common mystical experience involves tuning into visions or spontaneous names while you’re meditating. These visions or names might be of your current spirit guide, or could directly be a message from your soul.

I’ve even had people tell me that they’ve received unknown songs or melodies during meditation. Personally, I have experienced spontaneous visions and words.

But how can you tell apart normal mental chatter from visions, names or songs from your soul? Typically, the images you see or words you hear will have a specific theme that seems foreign (e.g. it could be from an ancient culture), and they will be very repetitive. You will also have the sensation that somehow they are important for you to pay attention to.

I recommend keeping a meditation journal to record these visions, images, words or songs. This will help you to better articulate what your soul is trying to express.

How to Speak to Your Soul

There are many ways for you to actively communicate with your soul, but that is for another article. In the mean time, I recommend simply saying a daily prayer.

Here is an example you could use, or build on yourself:

“Dear soul, I love you. Thank you for supporting my life. I’m so honored and appreciative of your presence. If you have any messages for me, please communicate them to me. I am open and receptive. I welcome your guidance.”

See how you go with this prayer and ensure that you pay attention to any emotional, physical or mental sensations that arise.

I hope that you’re now more aware of the deep craving of your soul to make itself known to you. Deep down, we all crave for oneness and wholeness. By learning the language of your soul, you can open a sacred doorway into the world of reclaimed strength, beauty, love and innocence.

Any thoughts or questions, share them below.

STEPHANIE LUCAS: “Power Animals, Totem Animals, & Animal Archetypes – Oh My!”

Art-36a-700x325

We recently published a piece exploring the amazing realm of Power Animals, which brought on a few questions from readers about the difference between Power Animals and Power Totems and Animal Archetypes. It’s beautiful to see a resurgence of interest in indigenous teachings concerning the power of utilizing our animal counterparts to help guide us in connecting and realigning with our spiritual environment and oneness with Nature. So, let’s delve into these ‘differences.

What are Power Animals and How Do We ‘Run’ With Them?

You may be born with a Power Animal that you become conscious of or are guided to through a shamanic experience. They may change during your lifetime, as they are gifts of consciousness intended to guide and protect you along your journey – so they may be similar to you in traits or they may complement your aspects and assist you areas in which you need strength. Sometimes, Power Animals come to us in times of grief, pain, or in times of soul losses.

For example, if you suffer from a lack of interest or malaise, your Power Animal may return to you as a monkey to inspire curiosity and interest. If you have fallen prey to unforeseen dangers, it may be tiger that comes to assist. Under their protection it is believed that your natural instinctual self will feel safe enough to return to you and that Power Animal might then depart. Learn more about Discovering, Unleashing, and Nurturing Power Animals here.

Power Animals

Totem Animals Help Ones Self-Discovery

Totem Animals often represent ancestral lineages, lore, belief systems, and/or aspects of villages, clans, or families. Cultures around the world use totems as sources of strength – a medicine of sorts – that helps them draw and define the meaning and purpose of their soul and existence.

Many Native Americans belief that you have one Spirit Totem that will be with you for life acting as your primary guardian spirit, yet many may enter and leave your life as they are needed to aid your journey. If not through lineage, many people discover their Totem Animal simply because they have an inexplicable attraction to a particular creature or keep finding themselves in the company of a certain animal in both physical and dream realms. Intuition guides you to your totem…your Totem then guides you.

The Profound Pleasure of Animal Archetypes

According to Jungian psychology, archetypes are some of the highest developed elements of the collective unconscious that serve to interact and call upon the Divine glory of the universal web in a specific way. Many indigenous cultures consider Animal Archetypes as guides to universal organizing principles in which they ultimately orchestrate their world around. For example, to ‘shed’ old problems and reconnect with the earth, one might call on Serpent…yet, if one wants to ‘rediscover’ and enjoy the nectar of the universe – hummingbird might be called upon. Essentially, Animal Archetypes in generally may be how an entire culture chooses to define and manifest their world.

Power Animals

Use your Inner Shaman to Discover Your Power Animal or Take a fun quiz to see if they nailed your Power Animal – most importantly, use your totems and archetypes as well, just as the indigenous used them to engage with the natural world. Interact with them regularly, run wild, and unleash the beast…
