ALETHEIA LUNA: “How to Channel Your Soul Through Automatic Writing”

Do you want to discover a simple, quick, safe, and powerful way to connect with your Soul?

One of the best techniques out there is automatic writing. Automatic writing can be practiced by anyone, from those who have just begun their spiritual journey, to seasoned travelers.

I want to share with you a concise and detailed way to practice automatic writing based on my own soulwork experience.

What is Automatic Writing?

Automatic writing is the practice of writing words in a trance-like state that originate from a place outside of conscious awareness. Psychologists and spiritualists have varying beliefs about the origin of automatic writing, with some arguing that it is sourced from the unconscious mind, and others claiming that it originates from supernatural forces such as spirit guides and angels.

My personal belief is that automatic writing is sourced from the unconscious mind which is a doorway into the Soul or Higher Self. This makes automatic writing a wonderful way to gain guidance!

The Benefits of Automatic Writing

When you put in the effort to learn, there are many benefits to automatic writing. Here are a few examples:

  • You gain direct guidance from your Soul/Higher Self
  • You’ll have more clarity in your daily life as a result
  • Improved ability to make wise decisions
  • Your intuitive abilities are sharpened, honed, and developed
  • You can connect with your Spirit Guides and their perspectives
  • You feel supported and deeply understood
  • Improved ability to trust your instincts and intuition

And there are many other benefits, such as the fact that automatic writing is quite a calming practice that literally and metaphorically opens your mind!

How to Channel Your Soul Through Automatic Writing

Essentially, automatic writing, when broken down is simple. It involves:

  • Getting a pen and paper/opening a notepad or word document
  • Thinking of a question to ask
    Writing down the question
  • Relaxing your body and mind
  • Allowing the writing to flow spontaneously

However, automatic writing in practice is something that you’ll have to patiently develop (unless you have a natural gift for it).

You also might find, like many people, that the first time you try automatic writing it goes really well. But after that, you struggle a lot. The reason this happens is that when we try something new, our minds are often empty of belief and expectation. However, afterward, we begin to accumulate mental baggage which blocks the process of spontaneous revelation.

Don’t worry if this happens. All you’ll need to learn is how to empty the mind, and I’ll share some tips below about how to do this below:

1. Think of a question that you want guidance about

The whole purpose of automatic writing is to access guidance from your Soul, especially if you struggle to hear it in daily life.

Start each session with a clear question, and write it down in your notebook or word document. Choose a question that has really been pulling at your heart or eating you up inside. The more emotionally-charged the question is, the clearer your response will be.

It’s also important that you address your question to someone or something in particular such as your Soul, a Spirit Guide or your unconscious mind.

For example, your question could be “Dear Soul, why do I keep sabotaging my happiness?”

Try to keep your questions simple. If you have many questions, break them up into different sessions of writing — this will make the process easier for you.

2. Relax your mind

Learning how to relax your mind is the most important part of automatic writing. When your mind is still and empty of thoughts, writing spontaneously becomes much easier.

Examples of possible ways you can relax your mind include:

  • Meditation
  • Deep breathing
  • Mindfulness
  • Visualisation
  • Yoga

Do whatever suits you and relaxes you the most.

3. Enter a gentle trance

As humans, we have the capacity to enter trance-like states very easily. The most popular trance state we enter into is while watching TV!

A trance-like state is a form of altered consciousness in which your normal thinking brain relaxes. For automatic writing, entering a trance is very useful because it facilitates the spontaneous flow of information.

Common ways to enter into a gentle trance include listening to music, yogic/holotropic breathing, mantras, repetitive tasks, guided meditations, self-hypnosis, and many others.

Choose whatever works best for you, and don’t be shy with experimenting. I personally like listening to calming music and blending that with mindfulness or meditation.

4. Allow the flow of information

Once you feel ready you can begin to write. Don’t worry if at first the words are gobbledygook or if you can’t follow the stream of information. In fact, if you’re completely unaware of what you’re writing, that’s actually a very good thing! It means that you’re tapping into something that is far greater than your thinking mind.

It’s also very common during this stage to find yourself judging what you write and analyzing it. This is quite normal. If you find your mind getting involved, gently bring yourself back towards whatever practice you used before to enter a trance-like state. For example, if you were rhythmically breathing, go back to that. You’ll likely have to repeat this step a number of times.

I prefer to look away when I’m writing so that I’m not easily drawn into judging what I’m writing. But other people prefer looking. Experiment and see what suits you.

If you’re not used to writing, you’ll probably carry a bit of inhibition at first, which is natural. With practice, you’ll get into “the flow” of it, meaning that you’ll find automatic writing increasingly easier and easier to do without thought.

Before starting an automatic writing session, it’s important that you give yourself as much time as needed to express what needs to be expressed. One surefire way to hinder the flow of information is time pressure and the expectation that it should take a certain amount of time. In my experience, automatic writing can take a couple of minutes anywhere up to half an hour or more.

Basically, create a space in which you can relax as much as possible mentally. Remember, you can always interpret what is written afterward.

5. Interpret the information

At a certain point, you’ll intuitively sense that your automatic writing session is coming to an end. Other times, you might abruptly stop writing and no more information comes.

Once you’ve stopped, it’s time to review what you’ve written. Try looking firstly for coherent sentences or keywords that may pop out. Sometimes you’ll also find patterns, and in some situations, even words from different languages.

Also, if you’re confused about what has been written, you can always use that as a question to ask in your next automatic writing session. However, when I’m confused, I like to wait and ruminate on what has been written for a while. If I haven’t figured out what the message is after a week (which is rare), I use that as another question.

How to Know Whether You’re Really Channeling Your Soul

The best way to know for sure that you’re receiving guidance from your Soul is how you feel while writing. Do you feel a sense of inner spaciousness, lightness, and other good “vibes”? Or do you feel heavy, emotionally-charged, and frantic?

In my experience, I know for sure that I’m connecting with Soul/Spirit when I enter a state of no-mind in which I am completely present, calm and at peace.

However, when writing becomes frantic and heavy, it is usually coming from the mental or emotional energy “body.”

Another way to tell whether you’re really channeling your Soul is by reviewing what is written. Are the words authoritative, clear, and wise? Or are the words closer to what your mind sounds like (disjointed, critical or vague)? Words from your Soul will always sound and feel crystal clear.

I hope this advice helps you out and inspires you to begin practicing.

What are your experiences with automatic writing? If you have any tips, please share below!

TANAAZ (Forever Conscious): “Birds as Spiritual Messengers”

When I was a child I grew up believing that God was this omnipotent man that lived in the sky and judged us on whether we were being good or bad.

Even at a young age, I was very curious about spirituality and God, and so I decided to ask him how he could possible see what everyone was doing at any given time. The answer that floated into my mind was — birds.

It was in that moment that I began viewing birds as God’s messengers. I imagined that birds were the ones delivering messages to God about what people were up to and whether or not they were being good or bad.

Even though this could be a premise for a horror movie, the thought didn’t alarm or scare me one little bit. In fact, I remember hearing the answer and then just going about my merry way as if nothing had happened.

Flash forward now to my adult years, and while I don’t believe birds are necessarily spying on us and I don’t believe that God is a man in the sky, I do still believe that birds are spiritual messengers and are sensitive to our energy!

If we look back through time, the idea of birds being spiritual messengers is not that uncommon. Angels and birds share the same looking wings, and certain birds are said to represent or bring different qualities.

For example, doves are often used to represent peace, and a black crow is often used to predict a bad omen. Hummingbirds are commonly said to represent sweetness and joy, eagles are said to represent strength and power, and owls are said to represent wisdom.

If you start digging, there is deep meaning and symbolism written about nearly every type of bird that you may encounter.

The sacredness of birds is often linked to its ability to fly close to the heavens and to obtain wisdom from a different vantage point and level of frequency.

It is also believed that birds are vessels and have the ability to receive other souls in order to pass on messages.

When a loved one dies, it is said that they are able to connect with a bird’s soul and ask for permission to enter its body in order to deliver a message to their loved ones on earth.

Other animals like butterflies and dragonflies also have this ability as well, but this is why seeing a bird after a loved one has passed is often considered a sign or message.

It is not that the bird is necessarily your newly reincarnated loved one, (although who knows?!) it is simply your loved one’s soul hitching a ride on this faithful bird that has agreed to be a vessel.

Spirit guides and angels can do this as well, and can use birds as a vessel to come to you in order to deliver a message.

Shortly after my sister passed, a pigeon would come and sit on my balcony. Pigeons are so common that my first instinct was that this was nothing special, but the Pigeon seemed extra cute and curious, and would sit on my balcony for ages just staring at me.

I wondered if it was a message from my sister, but then figured if she was going to come to me it would be a more exotic or unusual bird!

The pigeon came so many times that I really started to wonder what the significance of this was. After opening up to the possibility, I then received multiple signs and even a dream that it was indeed a sign from her!

So even pigeons, as common as they are, can be faithful messengers from the other side! In fact, pigeons were the original carrier bird and were smart and friendly enough to be trained to deliver letters and notes to people across far distances.

Pigeons are also said to represent love and are a sign that your loved ones are safe and looked after!

So, the next time you have an unusual encounter with a bird, tune in and see if you can pick up on what message they are trying to share with you.

TANAAZ (Forever Conscious): “5 Channeled Messages From Wayne Dyer”

Ascension Avatar note: I generally don’t promote channeled messages (even though I’m an ‘involuntary’ channel myself, I keep most messages private)… perhaps sentiment got the best of me here since my dad loaned me his first Wayne Dyer book in 1978… I was only 13 but it paved the way toward many more philosophical, spiritual and metaphysical reads… like this inspirational article. Thank you Tanaaz, Karen Noe and of course, Wayne Dyer who wasn’t a ‘spiritual master’ per se, but he touched many lives in a very simple, positive and powerful way. 🙂

***

Wayne Dyer has been a huge part of my spiritual journey. In fact, it was one of his books that first catapulted me into walking my own spiritual path.

For those who have followed his work, you will know that Wayne passed away quietly in his sleep back in 2015.

Since his passing, Wayne has come through and channeled messages to psychic medium and author, Karen Noe. She wrote a book about it called “We Consciousness”, which I highly recommend.

In the book, Karen shares the conversations she had with Wayne, along with insights from other celestial beings.

It was an enlightening read, and I felt compelled to share some of the messages from Wayne that I found the most profound.

Here they are—

1. Being At Peace is How We Really Save the Planet

Switch on the news and all you will find is agony, pain, and suffering all over the world. What can we do to fix it?

Wayne shared with Karen that “becoming an instrument of peace is vital to the survival of the planet.”

Being an instrument of peace is about taking responsibility for yourself and your actions, and responding with loving kindness as much as possible.

Instead of focusing on all the negative things that are happening and getting upset, the idea is to concentrate on finding peace within your own mind, body, and heart.

When you achieve peace from within, you help to raise the vibration of the planet and this, in turn, contributes to the healing and erasing of suffering.

2. It’s Not I Am, It’s We Are

As Wayne shares with Karen,

“We are all one in love— everything else is just an illusion.”

We are all connected and we are all one in the same. Even though this can be hard for us to fathom, the more we can think of ourselves as a “We” instead of an “I” the more inclusive and loving we can become.

When we hurt ourselves we are hurting others, and when we hurt others we are really hurting ourselves. The same goes for when we feel annoyed at others, and when we feel in love with others. Separation is just an illusion!

To begin integrating this idea into your life, the next time you are reciting an affirmation or mantra, like “I am abundant”, try instead to start it off with “We are” and see how that shifts and changes the energy of what you are saying.

3. What You Think is a Reflection of your Vibration

Your thoughts are the key to your energetic vibration. If your thoughts are loving and positive, you are working on a higher vibration. If your thoughts are negative and anxious, chances are you are working on a lower vibration.

Everything that manifests in front of you is a projection of your vibration. While your ego may want to label what is unfolding in front of you as either good or bad, it’s important to remember that it is neither.

We are co-creators and we are here to learn, grow, and develop. Together we are all working as a team to raise the consciousness of the planet and everyone living on it.

While we may not always be able to control what happens to us, we can control our thoughts and the way we choose to look at things.

When you focus on loving, peaceful, and positive thoughts you raise your vibration and this, in turn, gives you access to a higher frequency of living that is more connected with the Divine and your true self.

4. Your Hair is an Antenna

There are many cultures and ancient tribes around the world that believe in the intuitive powers of hair. Wayne confirms this during his conversations with Karen, and shares that our hair is indeed an antenna that picks up energy from the world around us.

Having longer hair gives us a greater antenna, and therefore it becomes easier to pick up intuitive messages and sense things from our environment.

Because our hair acts like an antenna and absorbs the energy from around us, it is sometimes necessary to clear and cut it off every once in a while. This is may also explain why we feel the need to radically change our hair whenever a big life event occurs.

5. The Consciousness of the Planet is Rising

It is visible in the alignment of the planets and Wayne has now confirmed it too— the consciousness of the planet is rising.

In order for the consciousness of the planet to rise, the darkness that has been tucked and buried away needs to come to the light. This rising of darkness is nothing to fear, instead it allows us to choose our path with greater clarity.

As Wayne shares with Karen—

“Be thankful because the planet is now rising to a new level of awareness.”

In order to join the light and help the planet rise in consciousness, we have to be an instrument of peace and start thinking about how our actions and words impact others.

We cannot grow, we cannot rise if we don’t start serving ourselves and each other with love, kindness and compassion.

“May love surround you, and the Divine within you guide you as to what steps you need to take now to be of service to the Universe”

—Karen Noe

ASCENSION AVATAR: “A Magical Day…”

Have you ever have one of those days you feel and just know you’re in a ‘higher dimension’?  Well, yesterday was one of those days…  Upon returning to my Oregon home (which is on the market) I stopped at a service station to refuel the car… On the drive there I’d noticed many breathtaking clouds and sylphs… and commented to the attendant, “Wow, check out those clouds!”

He looked up and said matter-of-factly, “Yep. This is God’s country.”

That simple remark brought a smile…

Afterward I drove to a market to get water. While standing in line I suddenly got ‘goosebumps’… and apparently everyone else felt it too because they all began turning and looking around… like, “What IS that?”

When I exited the store I looked up and was nearly startled by what I saw in the sky… there appeared to be a ‘face’ and a ‘body’… and a dazzling sphere of light which was elliptical in its shape…

“Oh, I’ve GOT to get some photos of this!” I said to myself then snapped several shots using my phone… and continued snapping away throughout the drive ‘home’…

Keeping a simple story simple, these are some of the images I captured.  There are even more impressive videos, but for now these will do.  I’m wondering if there may be a deeper message here and perhaps I shouldn’t sell the property?  Hmm, ‘time’ will tell…

InJoy~

When I arrived ‘home’ I noticed this wild yellow rose… which certainly wasn’t ‘there’  ‘before’…

This was taken today before leaving…

TANAAZ (Forever Conscious): “Common Animal Messengers and Their Meaning”

animal-messengers.jpg

Animals have an important purpose on this earth. They walk alongside us as teachers, messengers and as givers of light and love. They help us to understand the world that we live in and they teach us so much about what was here before us and what will be here after us.

Animals are conscious, sentient beings and it is important that we treat all living creatures with the same dignity and respect that we expect.

The ancients have always regarded animals as being sacred and their behaviour was often used as clues and signs at to what Mother Earth might be up to.

By watching the behaviour of animals, we can get a better understanding of the energy around us and a deeper insight into intuitive messages and signs.

Just like we have spirit guides, we also have spirit animals. Often spirit animals will come into our lives to give us a message or to teach us something about our own ability and strength.

Sometimes an animal will come into our lives for a brief period of time as a way to signal us as to something that we need to pay attention to.

If you want to discover your Spirit Animal, start here.

But if you are curious about a particular animal messenger that seems to be popping up in your life either in your every day or in your dreams, here are some potential meanings-

Common Animal Messengers and Their Meaning-

Hawk: the strong hawk has keen eyes and strong wings. If you continually see hawks or images of hawks, it may be a sign that you need to look at something more closely before proceeding. It may also be a sign that a strong or important teacher or lesson will be unfolding in your life shortly.

Eagle: the eagle is a sign of spiritual protection and moving to a level of higher consciousness. If you repeatedly see eagles or eagle imagery in your life, it could be that you are transcending or shifting into a new realm of consciousness.

Raven/Crow: commonly considered a bad omen, seeing a crow or raven could indicate that you are ready to let go of something or that you are getting ready to enter into a “death and rebirth” cycle. Seeing a raven or crow very rarely indicates physical death, instead it is a sign of an upcoming rebirth.

Owl: seeing an owl is an indicator that you need to pay attention to your intuition and wisdom. The owl also comes as a reminder to pay attention to any gut feelings that you may be receiving as they are trying to point you in the right direction. The owl may also be a sign that you need to tune into your truth and act from a place of authenticity.

Cardinal: cardinal birds have often been associated with receiving a message from a deceased father figure or a male spirit guide. If you repeatedly see cardinals it could be a reminder that you are being loved and protected by this male, or a reminder to stay strong and confident in the path that you are walking.

Bluejay: seeing a Bluejay is often associated with receiving a message from a deceased female figure or female spirit guide. If you repeatedly see BlueJays it may be  a reminder to tune into your creativity and keep your creative projects flowing. It could also be an indication that your family needs you or that family unity is important.

Praying Mantis: the praying mantis comes to remind us that it is time to bring peace and stillness into our lives. The praying mantis comes as a messenger to remind us about the power of stillness and creating space in our lives for the things that we enjoy doing. Seeing a praying mantis repeatedly may also be a sign that there is a message that you need to pay attention to or something that you may be missing.

Lizard: if you repeatedly see lizards or lizard imagery, it may be an indicator that you need to pay more attention to your dreams and goals. Perhaps you have lost sight of all that you can achieve or perhaps you are feeling negative about your abilities to achieve all that you desire. Seeing a lizard is a reminder that you do have the power and that you need to spend more time cultivating your highest path.

Snake: seeing a snake is a powerful reminder of your life force and your passions. If you repeatedly see snakes or imagery of snakes, it could be that you need to pay attention to your passions and put more energy into pursuing them. Seeing a snake may also indicate that you are entering into a place of healing and renewal.

Spider: spiders carry powerful symbolism about creation and spiritual connectedness. When you see spiders often it may be an indication that you need to tune into your creative potential and follow through on any ideas or inspirations that you have to create. It may also be a sign of your connectedness to the spirit world and perhaps also indicate that spirit is trying to send you a message or reminder about this connection.

Dragonfly: seeing a dragonfly is a reminder that you are not alone and that you are very protected by your guardian angels and spirit guides. If you repeatedly see dragonflies it may also indicate that you are on the right path and are heading in the right direction for your soul.

Ladybug: the ladybug is commonly seen as a good luck sign and indicates that things are about to shift in your favor. Seeing ladybugs or ladybug imagery repeatedly may also be a sign of your need to pay gratitude for all that you have and the direction that your life is taking. Ladybugs may also indicate a good time for you to push forward in obtaining your highest dreams and wishes.

Butterfly: butterflies come to remind you about the power of transformation and that there needs to be a shift internally before you can shift externally. If you are repeatedly seeing butterflies, it may be a sign that you need to change or release some thoughts or feelings that are holding you back. Seeing a butterfly may also indicate a cycle of transformation or growth occurring in your life.

Wolf: repeatedly seeing a wolf or imagery of a wolf may indicate that it is time for you to pay attention to the people you are surrounding yourself with. Wolves may also indicate that it is time to unite with your family and loved ones in order to make it through this next chapter of your life. If you see a wolf, it is perhaps also a sign that you need to learn how to accept help from others.

Fox: foxes comes as a reminder that there could be a different way for you to approach your life or see things. If you repeatedly see foxes or imagery of foxes, it could be that you need to adjust your thinking about something and the way you are approaching things. Foxes may also come as a reminder to seek joy, to not take things so seriously and to laugh at the little things.

Using your intuition will be key in determining what messages a particular animal is trying to bring into your life. Use this as a guide, however if you found this page, it is most likely an indication that the message written here is for you.
